Really need Polidore back this week, especially since Taki has been banged up.

Man, the secondary has just been getting hammered…

Polidore- hopefully back sometime soon
Blake Stillwell (most likely out for season)
Brock steel (season ending)
Caden Dowler (sounds like season ending)
Taki- been battling injuries
Jon johnson- had the hand injury

Who else is even left at this point? Jeez

No kidding. Pottenger has been out there late in blowout games. Takhari Carr has actually looked pretty good when he's been out there at CB. It's the Safeties and Nickel that have been hammered.

Ugh, such a bummer for Schmidt... he's such a beast. Fortunately we do have some decent depth there but now you have to start rotating fewer players... and God forbid if we see another injury there we're suddenly paper thin. That said, I suppose if you step back and look at our injury situation overall, yes we've had quite a few of them but I don't know if it's been worse or better than an average year. As we all know, it tends to hit a particular position group for whatever reason, and makes things seem worse than they are. From what I can tell, unless I'm missing something, we've lost exactly two players to season ending injuries across the entire roster. Blake Schmidt and Brock Steel. We're exactly half way through the regular season schedule.

Bummer, but I can confirm 100% Caden Dowler is out for the season with a torn ACL.

Irrefutable source. Next up, get ready to go.

Tough deal for Dowler, if true.

Schmidt news is awful as it is for anyone suffering a season (possibly career) ending injury. Very sad. I think Sharbono and Marsh are going to be fine as long as they’re out there with one of the veterans.

Both Sharbono and Marsh have looked like they are ready to step up, I think we will be OK

God Dang it... what a bummer for Caden. Two years in a row missing a good chunk of the season with injury.

Does anyone know why this hasn't been officially announced yet, or if it has I haven't seen it. I have seen 3 or 4 interviews with Vigen however, and all he's said is that Caden is out for this game. When Blake tore his ACL, Vigen came out and announced that he was done for the season. I don't know, maybe it's a privacy law deal where Caden didn't sign the deal to allow coaches to comment in it whereas Blake did?

I try to keep in mind how worried I was about the new mexico game knowing that Justus was going to be out. That worked out okay; I hope this will too.

Blake got hurt week before and it wasn't announced until right before game last weekend. So probably similar that when 2 deep is released they don't have official diagnosis so list as doubtful and don't address again until before game this week or next Monday

I get that, but PapaG was saying it was 100% a done deal that he's out for the season from an irrefutable source, so I was just thinking that if that is true you'd think Vigen would just announce it. He's not like Bobby... never saying anything when players are done for the year.

I am saying by Tuesday last week they knew Blake was done, but didn't say anything till game day. Usually report injuries Monday and nothing else until if out for game

Correct. That’s typically how it’s done. Unless the player says something on Twitter or something.

He seemed fine walking to the locker room. Was under his own power, fist pumping and smiling towards our section. Hope it was just precaution he sat out the 2nd half and that they had a comfortable lead

Could be a parent’s overreaction and hopefully things have changed!
