Secondary is bad.
Humphrey and Jones are a dangerous 1-2 punch.
You literally have no clue what you're taking about. They aren't bad. They are the best but they are avg. Tracy is throwing some darts. Nearly every big catch was contested and we won our fair share.
When a team throws as much at this, they're going to win some. They've scored 17 points...... every single team in the country would take defense that's had given up 17pts with a couple of high quality throws and catches.. like you do realize they are d1 athletes as well? They are going to make some plays
Apparently BBT doesn’t know the prodigiousness of msuhunter’s gameday gloom. lol - I’m here for it haha
Gameday gloom? 24/7

Secondary looking extremely good today
Agree to disagree.
No I don’t agree.
Did we watch the same game? Secondary has some work to do before the Idaho game.
Is Idaho a better passing team than ISU?
Stat wise I stand corrected. ISU is ranked considerably higher in the passing game.

I agree they need hone some things...but they didn't play bad...48% completion rate....we gave up 1 big play on a waste play....2 TDs both were darts, one was a really good catch...and only one PI. So that was 4 what we can call bad plays, yes we need to limit them even more. Now defensively I saw at least 8-10 really great plays, men in coverage, passing off routes, communication and making the qb hold the ball just a touch and go to his 2nd and 3rd read.....that had an avg game, neither good nor bad....they do need to keep improving. What i saw more than anything is a lack of focus late in the game, they need to understand that NC defense stays focused the whole game, they didn't. I didn't see lack of ability from the cbs, i saw lack of tech, confidence, and focus...all of those can be worked on and improved upon.

Sure seemed ugly at times but we'll take the win. With the Cats history of loses in domes, including the last time at ISU, walking away with an ugly win is ok. Give ISU credit, they kept trying, didn't lay down and die.

In other news, UNCU is worse than we thought. They lost to Cal Poly by 21 at home.
Weber struggling against McNeese. Needed an end of half score to pull within 1: 7-6.
Sac State felt the wrath of the Walkup Skydome 34-16.

We're just not a very good road team. There have been exceptions where we looked great but in general we struggle more than a top 5 team should. In the end a win's a win. Every win in a road game, no matter how ugly, increases the chances we don't have to play them in the playoffs, which is all that matters.

What an incredible win. The defense played very well. When the Cats faced adversity at 17-10, they did what Championship teams do, they said enough of this and put their foot on the gas. Typical Cat fashion, the running game really opened up in the 4th.
It was out of Vigens characteristic to score the late TD but I love it.
Definitely some things to work on. Tommy looked a little out of sorts through the first 3q’s. Defense played extremely well other than a few drives. Can’t let any team score before the half. And MSU needs to get the targeting figured out.
One more warm up game where we get to see the 2s and 3s before the meat of the schedule hits.
Hating the griz since 02.

Did the play clock on TV show delay of game on the last ISU TD? Play clock was expired by 3 seconds in the stadium.

Yes. I was yelling at the TV. No one listened…

Very true! Not sure what the cure is for that road team flaw, but if someone found it that would be gold!

Ok, glad I wasn't the only one. It's not like it was a close one where you can get away with it either.

Why did we not victory formation the last minute of the game?
I thought it was obvious ISU was not going to call a timeout.

When a QB knees a player in the head, you make them pay. Also, I think it’s good to punch those in, especially in conference play. Just keep your foot on the pedal

Oh well. Brody took a cheap knee to the head after the game was put away, they can have a last second TD when the game was put away.
