They're done. All panels are installed and the post's are painted Black. I would imagine SCS will be doing some wrap on the post's for advertising. Most likely, Town Pump.

This photo of construction in the SMU end zone kind of reminded me of what the Bobcats possibly have planned for the North end zone, but on a slightly smaller scale and shallower angle to the building. Obviously, the scoreboard will be in the way at Bobcat stadium, but with the raised end zone seating and some sort of a party area below.

Is it just me, or will SMU need to move the field a little? The construction area looks almost to the 10 yard line.

It definitely looks as if they are squeezing in every row they can.

I was wrong. They're still doing some finishing touches on the score board. Brutal hot up there next to that big black block.

All the panels on the northside of the board, have been removed. It's either a change order or a F up. It's to hot for F ups.

They should drop all the pieces of at the EE freshman classes. Have them strip the copper for scrap.

So, is the gap going to be covered or not?

If you are writing about the gap between the speaker box and the scoreboard, it is covered. That was the first thing I looked at when I saw the front of the board. I even took another closer image of it.

We were there yesterday about 2:15 and had not remembered it was "the big day" until we walked onto the field. I have a picture of the scoreboard and people at the base. Good grief, it is huge. Just looking at a picture does not do it justice. All I have to say is DAMN.....

That whole complex will be massive and will be a great addition to the university.

I'm considering going just to hear the new sound upgrade. I'm really hoping they hit a home run with that piece. Hasn't been talked about much.

I’ve heard it. It’s a home run imo.
