Patterson has always been so fun to watch play. He seems like he's got a great attitude.

During his first summer in Bozeman, there was a photo taken of Willie and I believe the other receivers at a picnic at a coaches home. Willie wasn't smiling and looked to me like he wanted to be anywhere other than in Bozeman. I thought at the time that he would be gone within a year. Boy was I wrong, Willie overcame a lot of adversity, turned out to be not only a great player but a great leader on the team as well. I know Willie mentored a lot of the underclassmen and they certainly listened to him. He could be great coach after his playing days are over.

Willie definitely struggling Bozeman may be the first couple of years. He got good direction and fulfilled his potential which is awesome to see hey kid do that!

Our team looks loaded and ready for a deep run in the playoffs. Lots of proven talent all over the field. Great feeling to see both sides of the ball returning significant talent.

On another subject, I looked at the write up for the Gris expecting to see a decline since they lost key pieces from last years team. What really shocked me was they have 15 D1 incoming transfers. 12 of them are from FBS schools. Not sure if any of them will have an impact, but they are not relying on the backups from last years team.

Gris fans brag on Bobby’s high school recruiting and player development, but the fact Bobby felt it necessary to bring in 15 D1 transfers speaks loudly against both claims. Clearly, Bobby knows the sun is setting on a career with 4 title game losses and no wins. He’s desperate to win one so he’s not forever remembered as “Big Game Bob”.

Seems like a good idea. I'm sure some people assume this guy is named Bo and there's an article about him leading the way for the Broncos. It's probably Bo Nix, who went to the Broncos, but that's an odd photo to put alongside that headline.

Talked to a camp parent today from Texas that has a son playing for Oklahoma State and Texas. Said MSU’s camp was the most organized of any they had been to. Was amazed at how many Texas kids were at MSU and being offered by MSU.
