It is be removed right now
Looking forward to the Maine game and speakers that don’t sound like blown-out speakers from a 1993 Toyota Tercel.
This will date me, but the current system sounds worse than a 250 watt Kraco ordered out of the JC Whitney catalog.
Man you must be a 100 years old making purchases from a Whitney catalog.

Vigen said the new scoreboard should be up by the Sonny Holland game but probably not operational.

Four supports towers up now. Crane and workers in the area. Bunch of jackhammering going on around the steps on the west grandstands.

Awesome! Thank you. I wish MSU would have put a cam on the project but an update once in a while is great too.

The original towers (inner) were left in place. It’s big and will make the stadium more enclosed. It’s probably going to make the east grandstand (next project?) look more out of place. The scoreboard face will be at least five feet outside of the outer towers.

It will also keep more noise in the stadium and reflect it back towards the field.
