This is a class act by an excellent university. The MSU announcement says MSU is proud to contribute. I don’t think the butt hurt guys who posted negative, inaccurate comments above are representative of Bobcat Nation.
It is a classy excellent thing for a proud MSU to do. After pointing that out you could've shown class and excellence by making a point of writing "Thank you" and let it be at that. Instead your head and thoughts were so focused on making a far less important point that you forgot to do the greater thing. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that it shows your lack of training rather than tell you the other things it shows about you.
Still butt hurt, eh? MSU is an excellent university and a classy Montana institution. Best wishes for a Bobcat championship run next season. The vast majority of Bobcat fans are as classy as MSU’s message and action today.

Come on people. Just get over yourselves for a second and realize what a great gesture this is by MSU to help out some kids in the UM band have a great experience. Good on you MSU and President Cruzado.
Good post and my thoughts.

Kind of pathetic that a team going to Frisco can't afford to give a little money to their band and instead has to come begging to their rival for donations.
They didn’t beg their rival, and their rival didn’t have to donate.
You are welcome.

No not at all, just pointing out that your crumbs of compliments are far out weighed by your usual thinly vailed snarky comments. Thought I'd give you a road map showing you how to be better. You're either unwilling or incapable and that's fine, carry on.

I disagree, I donate to Bobcat Club, QB club, NIL, the Indoor Practice Facility I have $300 to The Spirit of the West band when they went to Frisco. I’ve spent thousands over the years at the Triangle Classic to help raise money,
I’ve played in Golf tournaments and donated money etc. etc. I work my ass for every dollar I’ve earned. MSU is always asking for dollars I always give what I can….to turn and give it to UM … F**k that… I’m guessing some of you forgot a few years ago in our playoff run when Bobby sent heated benches to our opponent in Bozeman… I’ve sent a text to several of my Gris friends and told them to get their check books and get their band to Frisco… let’s just say they laughed and “I will get right on that” in a sarcastic way..

You think it’s bad here. Go over to E-Gross and see what some of them are saying about us donating. Didn’t want to but temptation won

And was not that the year that MSU helped pay for the UofM band to come to Bozeman for Cat/Griz?

I must say, it's quite entertaining to witness the grizzlies' apparent struggles, prompting the flagship university in Montana to generously offer a mere $3k in assistance. One can't help but wonder what this says about the grizzlies' present and future financial stability that the athletic department needs such modest donations to fund an important part of collegiate athletics.

I’m going to say this… it was a nice gesture by MSU.. but until you put the funds up other Cat fans have and have them give it to UM… it hurts… I have zero love for that school and yes I paid tuition there for my daughter back in 2009 to 2012. So carry on…. On why I’m butt hurt. I’ve got all day…

Mr. Walberg says "F**k the Cats but thanks for the $3000".
And that's why I'm not in favor of giving money to our rival. Go ahead and tell me I'm a bad fan now. I couldn't care less.

That's just rude. Jerks. Hope they get completely destroyed in Frisco.

The fact that some people on BN respect this guy always surprises me. But then again, there are a lot of people that fall for trolling from griz fans here so maybe I should temper my expectations.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

He's a pretty reasonable guy sometimes, which always makes people respect someone more than they probably deserve. I don't think he's a bad guy, he's just a dork. Pretty typical stuck-in-the-90's gris bro.

Why? I have close friends that say FTG all day every day. It's a rivalry. We don't like the Griz. The griz don't like the Cats. Our fans chant eat ****** griz at every home game. So why is a griz fan saying FTC any different? :-k
