There have been two head coaches with Helena ties (Hysell played at HHS, Kramer coached HHS). An OC with Helena ties (Miller played at CHS) but I don’t recall a DC from Helena unless Kramer was a DC here under Arnold but I don’t think he was.

Very could have been... but WMG contract was up and there was really no redeeming reason to renew it. Bobby was a natural fit.

That’s too bad because a lot of people that put a lot of time and money into MSU football like him around Bozeman. They won’t if he’s bad mouthing it though. Hope it isn’t true. Going to be a big letdown for them.

His defense dominated Weber in the 2nd round in 2022. Corners were beat by some deep balls in the 4th but I like his style.

I do seem to remember Daly calling a more aggressive defense in that Weber game that Garza was suspended for. At least until we got up 33-10 and Weber scored 2 4th quarter TDs to get back in it.

I feel like our CBs get beat pretty regularly on the outside for deep balls. I guess they train them to bite on the short stuff because we are hoping to get pressure so when we don't they get hung out to dry. Doesn't seem like we scheme to keep safeties over the top of everything to stop that from happening.

180 yards allowed on 39 plays before last two Weber possessions, 137 on 14 plays last two Weber possessions. Backup quarterback came in (Weisser) and MSU didn’t adjust well.
