It seems everyone with a post like this one forgets about our lack of a reliable kicker. If we had one, those games would have been won.aucat wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 10:22 amWell, I guess I disagree with a bunch of these posts. UM was a 21 point favorite at one point last week (it eventually dropped down to 14 as many bettors bet on Furman) Everyone was expecting an easy game, including me. It was a trap game. The point is, UM found a way to win. Just as they found a way to win against Idaho. Call it luck or whatever, but winning the close games is what it's all about. We DIDN'T find a way to win in close games against SDSU, Idaho and NDSU. Just because UM didn't win impressively against Furman doesn't mean they won't show up big time against NDSU---assuming of course that NDSU beats SD.

Add that FG in the first half and we are kicking for the win at the end.91catAlum wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 12:36 pmThe ndsu game would've been won. And if Griz had lost they would have blamed special teams with the 2 missed FG.tdub wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 1:10 amWasn’t bashing it. Success not by accident, but by design.tdub wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 12:19 amGreat point. Furman with offensive 4 TD’s and the gris with 1. I hope the players returning next season have an even worse feeling than I do watching NDSU just rolling over South Dakota 21-3 after one.

Re: Quarters
The Brawl could have been 14-6 going into halftime, 14-13 after the Cats drive. Not sure the Cats win, but it sure feels a lot more like a game if we don't miss those two.91catAlum wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 12:36 pmThe ndsu game would've been won. Re: Quarters
Welp it will be ndsu at Missoula next week. Usddoesn't have the offense to score 28 in this game and Ndsu looks like a much improved team in the last month.
Can ndsu win in Missoula next week?
And who in God's name do we root for??

I know about our kicking woes but the UM kicker surprisingly missed TWO field goals last night yet they found a way to win.

The Griz aren’t going to beat this NDSU team. I’ll wait to see what the betting line is but will probably be putting some cash on that one.

And the two hated teams are playing in Missoula. Ugh do I even care at this point?

I know, right? I think I want NDSU to boatrace the Gris so we get the last laugh, but then again, I just spent the list hour screaming at the TV about how much I hate the Bison.
