They are really amped in missoula. Wow. That’s hilarious
You would’ve thought they just beat Alabama.
Just glanced at egris but I think some were saying gris by 50. I know some were real confident.
And they should have been! A team like UM or MSU, with all their resources, SHOULD smoke a D2 school at home-- even if it's the best D2 school.

This is the worst Gris team I’ve seen in a while.

I’m so excited!

Bet Stanford says that about FCS too lol. But seriously, Ferris is really good. They'd be top 10 in the FCS pretty easily I think.

I don’t know that I’d give them THAT much, but I could see top 25 for sure. They are a pretty solid team. Those lines are big and they’re LB’s were good getting sideline to sideline.

Man… I don’t think they’d be close.

If they were really of that quality, I don’t think they’d have a bunch of one score games against other D2 schools. They got overhyped.

UM is really banged on DL. Had a TE playing last night. Their OL is shaky and the QBs haven’t looked great. Gubner, Fouch, Gradney, Bergen and that’s about all I can name. I used to be able to rattle off almost all their starters.

There were down by 2+ scores to another D2 team last week. They would be lucky to win half their games in the Big Sky - just like the Gris.

Ok even I’m not sure why the Bergen catch was overturned
me either, hate to say it but friz got screwed on that call
I can’t help but feel like it was a make up call. One of those targeting calls against Ferris against was bs. The one where the lineman was late to the pile and the crown of his helmet hit a gris player’s arm.

Top 10?? No way. But I'm sure that's what griz fans will say lol.

Vidlak may become something in time, but he's very hit and miss right now. He's definitely a step backwards from Lucas Johnson. They might be able to structure something dangerous around McDowell, but so far they're unwilling.

They have good running backs and wide receivers.

Their tight ends are totally nondescript without Grossman.

The OL is proving to have been quite overrated (an annual tradition at this point).

The DL is both shallow and small. Gubner and Edwards are good players, but you need a lot more to go where they want to go.

They have good linebackers, but no single player on the level of some of their previous greats.

They're worse at corner without Ford.

They're better at safety this year.

Overall, I think they're better this season at RB and S and maybe OL, but they're worse everywhere else.

But their safety position has far fewer stats than in previous years

Not sure if the numbers are increasing but there are two different sides over there regarding booby. There are some not real happy with the mediocrity. I love it.

Sam Herder, who knows the FCS well, dropped the griz to #21 on his ballot this week based on close games vs Ferris and Butler, both in Missoula.

There's a new post on fb listing all the potential outcomes of Ferris vs other non conference opponents to prove how tough they are. A one score win and the Griz are wringing their hands and justifying the strength of their opponent to offset the fact that they nearly got beat by a DIi team. I guess whatever helps them sleep at night. How the mighty have fallen 8-[

I think the gris lose this game by 10 on a neutral field. I hate to give them credit, but the fans were the difference in this game.

They can say all they want just how good Ferris State is, but isn't this year five (six if you count their mini Covid season) of RTD? Can you imagine that fan base 20-25 years ago trying to tell everybody how good a D-II team is?

Griz still have Monty, he/she (can’t assume anything) is worth an extra touchdown.
