Interesting videos.

These really bother me. He is breaking down our offense for anybody to see. He talks about keys, assignments, etc. This is not okay. The only excuse I could see is that we are not going to use these plays anymore.
Any D1 football coach worth a damn already has this broken down. It ain't rocket surgery.
HE BREAKS DOWN THE PLAYS IN HIS VIDEOS!

If you had an employee that puts your company’s proprietary information on YouTube and also takes time to break it down for any competitor, I would assume you would be upset.

Hell, any coach should be upset if someone on their staff is sharing stuff publicly - and sharing the keys and assignments.

Housewright is clearly a mole sent to infiltrate and sabotage the MSU team. First he puts up record breaking stats in 2022 to lull us all into a false sense of security, now the DUI charge and these videos exposing MSU's offense to any opposing coaches who were too lazy to watch a few hours of game film on their own.

Do you think he went rogue and published these videos without the consent of Vigen and/or Costello?

Every team that plays an opponent at this level knows what their alignments and plays run from those alignments.

Housewright and many other coaches are helping to teach/mentor coaches looking for help (many are looking). It’s also useful for fans who really dig football.

I don’t know. But if they gave him permission, I would be surprised and disappointed. I am 100% certain though that a coach explaining a play’s assignments, goals, adjustments, etc, make it easier preparation for the opposition. Isn’t that contrary to what we are trying to do?

So the videos are helpful to coaches who want to learn, but they are not helpful to the coaches who want to stop our offense?

I like Housewright. I like Vigen. But does anybody think Jeff Choate would have allowed videos like this to be posted on YouTube?

Under Choate, we didn't keep an OC long enough for them to make any videos. haha

Have you watched the Miracle in Missoula? Have you seen what he did to change our culture? Yes the guy left to pursue a career changing opportunity. That sucks for us, but let’s not denigrate his accomplishments- specifically changing the culture with MSU football.

Like I said earlier, I like Vigen. But I am having trouble digesting another issue with the staff. Some don’t see a problem with this. That is their opinion. I though am starting to question if fire is near all the recent smoke.

There is no smoke from this. Vigen would have signed off on it. You are creating the smoke here, just because you don't like it. He's recording it in the BAC, it's not like he's doing it from his living room with a fake mustache on.

These are all clips from a series you can purchase from Throw Deep Publishing.

Apples to oranges, and I will be goddamned if you criticize any of the coaches on this site. People take it as you’re not a fan, so weird. Why can’t people be critical of this? It doesn’t make them less of a fan and it damn sure doesn’t make them unknowing of how the coaching world works. Good god some people on here would eat ****** if the coaches or anybody from MSU told them it was cake. Weird.

As Hi Line said, it is apples to oranges. As a coach who has been to those clinics, there are not opposition coaches in attendance. Do you think a Gris coach has ever attended an MSU coaches clinic?

The truth maybe that some people are okay with sharing your expertise with anyone, including your opposition. I am not. I have never played with or coached with anyone who would be okay with that.

How do we know those coaches attending the clinic aren't passing on the secrets to the Cat offensive and defensive schemes to the gris?
