Crazy. I keep hoping something like this happens with Bobcat Football. I know we've seen a lot of very generous donations to the program, athletics, and MSU in general, but you know there has to be MSU billionaires out there that could throw 50 million into the program.

Unfortunately they're all funding academics.

Tom's a graduate of NDSU so I dont think U of M ever had a chance. Was fun jawing with him about FCS football. Glad he was able to retire, that whole family is super down to earth.

In other words, they have a rough idea of what the cost will be right now and they have at least half of that amount already raised. That’s what the “doing very well” part refers to.

That sounds promising. I hope it's more than just a bubble but whatever they do is helpful.

It still amazes me how various schools can raise as much money as they do. As MSU is where I received my bachelors degree and Army Commission, I sincerely hope all of the frequent posters here contribute to the known needs of MSU. One can only imagine what the enrollment of MSU could become with increased student housing. (And I would appreciate campus condos near the front porch of the university for game week festivities...)

Not indoor related. I drove up to Hyalite today and stopped to see the progress on the fitness facility. I have my doubts they will open by September but the facility is coming along.
