The late “hit” on Roberts was two guys getting tangled up while trying to get off the ground. I get why they called it a penalty, but in all reality it was nothing, and it certainly wasn’t dirty. Watch that play again, and if you really think it was dirty, then I can’t imagine you enjoy watching the Griz play.1890Griz wrote: ↑Sun Nov 20, 2022 3:24 pmSo I'm guessing you missed the late hit on Mitch Roberts? Well… Let’s also talk about class act Boobie and how he tried to crap on our passing game while admitting he knew we were going to run and run often and he couldn’t answer. He had such a bad scheme we didn’t even need to throw. But I’m glad he can throw crap even after taking a butt whooping. Glad we sent you all packing.1890Griz wrote: ↑Sun Nov 20, 2022 3:30 pmEither way, no balls were going to be thrown Ford's way.Cataholic wrote: ↑Sun Nov 20, 2022 3:25 pmWe didn’t pass at Ford because WE DIDNT HAVE TO PASS ALL GAME!1890Griz wrote: ↑Sun Nov 20, 2022 3:24 pmSo I'm guessing you missed the late hit on Mitch Roberts? WSU would have torched ford twice if it wasn’t for a horribly under thrown ball. I can’t believe WSU didn’t commit to the run game like we did.

If no balls are thrown at you you definitely can’t play the pass. With the run making it past the d line and line backers consistently a corner can and should get some tackles. How many did Ford make??? Serious ? If you tell me 10 + I’d say he had. Good game.1890Griz wrote: ↑Sun Nov 20, 2022 3:24 pmSo I'm guessing you missed the late hit on Mitch Roberts? Cats showed mercy yesterday. Could have run the ball all damn day and put up 60+ points. Shouldn't have been a penalty at all, unless they called it for taunting afterward. Wasn't even remotely close to a late hit or a dirty play at all.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Sun Nov 20, 2022 3:37 pmThe late “hit” on Roberts was two guys getting tangled up while trying to get off the ground. I'm not sure what you saw, but the guy tackled Mitch Roberts and as he was getting back up tackled him again. It was the clearest late hit I've ever seen. Robby's late hit was less clear as the whistle did not blow.onceacat wrote: ↑Sun Nov 20, 2022 4:08 pmShouldn't have been a penalty at all, unless they called it for taunting afterward. With about 2 minutes left in the second quarter, Pickering caught a pass while he juked and sped past safety #17?
I don’t have A program to look up whether he is a freshman or what! Did Missoula lose that one safety on the watchlist?

In the third quarter when our 8th string running back Marquis Johnson ran the ball past #17 on the defense for Missoula? I need to find a program where I can look up who it was.

On the Hauck penalty, the whistle absolutely did blow, you can hear it clear as day, and 3 other griz tacklers let up on the play - but Hauck did not. It was a well deserved flag. Rewatch it.

You should watch both plays again. You won’t see a second tackle, and you’ll hear the whistle clearly before Hauck tackled the guy. But you probably won’t watch the plays again, because that would be rather inconvenient for your “facts”.1890Griz wrote: ↑Sun Nov 20, 2022 5:21 pmI'm not sure what you saw, but the guy tackled Mitch Roberts and as he was getting back up tackled him again. Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14, but 34-11 will do.
