Was just about to post the same. Don't have the stats memorized obviously but I remember Cunningham being a very good, and very reliable kicker. :-k

I had Jason pegged for the NFL, but never got in, I believe he played in the CFL though.

Top Kickers

1.) Jan Stenerud (1965-1966): 1st Team All-American (1966); longest field goal in MSU history (59 yards...against the Griz no less); drafted by the KC Chiefs in 1967 and played 19 years in the NFL; the first (and for decades the only) kicker inducted into the NFL HOF; #78 is one of four numbers retired at MSU

2.) Jason Cunningham (2008-2011): 1st Team All-American (2010); 3x All-Big Sky; #1 All-Time in Career Scoring at MSU at 357 points (2nd is Cody Kirk at 292); Holds the #3 (2011) and #5 (2010) scoring seasons at MSU (Andersen and Hass hold the top 2); #1 in Most Consecutive FGs in a season (14); #1 in FGs Made in a Game (5); #1 in FGs Made over 50 in a Career (6); #1 in FGs Made over 40 in a Career (14); #3 in All-Time FG % in a Career (.750); #2 in FG % in a Season (.833 in 2011); Holds the 4th and 8th Longest FGs in MSU History (55 and 52)

3.) Pat Bolton (1972-1975): #3 All-Time in Career Scoring at MSU as well as FGs made in a Career (45); 2x All-Big Sky; Tied for 5th in FGs made in a season (14 - twice); Tied for 2nd in FGs made in a Game (4); #2 in FGs Made over 50 in a Career (3); #2 in FGs Made over 40 in a Career (11); Tied for 5th Longest FG in MSU history (53)

4.) Jeff Hastings (2005-2006): Tied for 3rd in FGs made over 40 in a Career (8); #1 FG % (minimum 15 attempts) in MSU history (.778); #4 in FGs made in a Season (16); #4 FG % in a Season (.800); only a 2 year career but his accuracy stands up with the best

5.) Jeff Muri (1976-1979): #5 All-Time in Career Scoring at MSU; 2x All-Big Sky; Tied for 5th Most FGs made in a Season (14); Tied for 5th Longest FG in MSU history (53)

6.) Mark Carter (1981-1984): #4 All-Time in Career Scoring at MSU; #2 in FGs made in a Career (45); Tied for 2nd in FGs made in a Game (4); 6th best Career FG % (.634)

7.) Luke Daly (2014-2015): Holds the #7 scoring season at MSU (2014); Tied with Cunningham for Most FGs made over 50 in a Season and Game (2); 2nd and 5th Longest FG in MSU history (57 and 53); Kid had a hell of a leg but got into a legal nightmare after the 2015 season; talent was up there with Cunningham and Stenerud but accuracy wasn't as good as the top on this list

8.) Rory Perez (2010-2013): Holds the #6 scoring season at MSU (2012); #3 in FGs made in a Season (17 with #1 and #2 being Cunningham); #5 in FGs over 40 Made in a Career (7); Tied for 1st in FGs over 40 made in a Season (7 in 2012); #3 in Consecutive FGs Made in a Season (7 in 2012); #5 All-Time FG % (.686); #3 in FG % for a Season (.809 in 2012); Was our primary punter but made that shift in 2012 and was nails all year...one of the best seasons in MSU history for a kicker

9.) Anders Larsson (1985-1988): #7 All-Time in Career Scoring at MSU; 4th Most FGs in a Career (33); #6 in FGs over 40 Made in a Career (6); Tied for 5th Longest FG in MSU history (53)

10.) Nate Cook (2000-2003): #8 All-Time in Career Scoring at MSU; #1 FG % in a Season (min. 10 attempts) at MSU (.900 in 2001)

Honorable Mentions

Geoff Groshelle (1994-1997): #11 All-Time in Career Scoring at MSU; #5 in FGs made in a Career (32)

Blake Glessner (2021-): He's already adjust these rankings above in the Top 10 "Field Goals in a Game", "Field Goals in a Season", "Scoring in a Season", and "Longest Field Goals" Lists; he had arguably the best freshman season by any kicker in MSU history

Matthew Peot (1997-1999): Was our All-Big Sky punter but did kick field goals during his career; has the #2 FG % in a Career at MSU

Terry Godfrey (1986): Holds the 3rd longest FG in MSU history (56)

If Stenerud wasn't amazing in his two years at MSU, Cunningham is 100% the best kicker MSU has ever had. Ranks near the top of EVERY kicking list MSU has. Nothing against Daly because he was an immense talent but Cunningham also had a leg...and was accurate.

Fail by me. Cunningham is who I had in my head, but Daly was the only name that bubbled up. Yes, replace Daly with Cunningham.

Again though...not faulting you for thinking about Daly. He was on his way to being an all-timer.

Never played in the CFL, got a tryout at KC I think, and kicked for a semi pro team for a bit, but went to work using his Engineering degree. My wife still texts with his mom every gameday.

I'll nominate Zach Minter for the 2009 EWU game, just because he was willing to go out there and try to kick!

And what a beautiful kicking display it was!
