Great job on the broadcast guys. I do have a couple questions though. Did I understand right when you said you thought housewright was creative on offense and then later you couldn’t understand why they ran Ifanse into the ground late in a couple of games when they had some other options?

Well both can be true... Housewright can be creative but he's still learning. And not sure who's decision it would be to keep Ifanse in the game late, seems more like a HC decision to me.

Earlier podcast talked about house and V being creative but at 45 minutes in this last podcast you mentioned concern over riding the same people over and over.
Are we that thin at running back? Or are we that thin on playcalling?

I think these are legit questions and concerns and I hope it is my lack of football knowledge!
In other areas I am expecting our offensive and defensive lines to get better with experience.
Coverage by our secondary is good but tackling is very suspect as it was last year.
Always appreciate your podcast even if I disagree at certain points.

Again, I think personnel and playcalling are two separate things. You can be creative with your playcalling while only using one running back.

That being said I thought the playcalling was just okay, but that may have been by design. And I don't love our starting RB getting 24 carries and Tommy getting 16 more, but it's apparent right now the coaches don't trust Elliot, or something is up there so it's basically just Sumner and White right now, so yes we are pretty thin. Coon has already redshirted so he'd probably be the next guy that would get some carries. I'm not hopeful for Williams to return any time soon so we need to find a 3rd back who can produce, in fact it should be a priority here against Morehead State.
