I decided to "Bobcat up" my page. I think most of you (well not Griz people, but anyway) will like it.

I took a look at the forum member's sites who gave us the link... someone could still know EXACTLY where you are if they wanted to. Take bozbobcat for example. He lists the classes he's taking... how hard is that to find him? And briannell tells people that sometimes her husband isn't at home because he's in the service. All I'm saying is that those sick people out there can put two and two together and find you if they want to. I HOPE THAT DOESN'T EVER BECOME AN ISSUE WITH ANYONE ON OUR FORUM HERE... I just want everyone to be safe and have a great time!

I see your point. I haven't had any problems yet caused by myspace. The reason I did that is so I could find friends when I set the profiles up. I plan to pull the class schedule here very soon. But I see your point and I hope that no issue arises from it.

Are you seriously scared about posting your schedule on the internet?

Some people overreact to the bad things that happen online. I bet you money that more people have met girlfriends/boyfriends though myspace than people who have been stalked.

A few bad apples here and there does not mean you have to be a paranoid recluse.

I'm not scared about putting my schedule up. It was one way I decided to help myself find friends on there. I will pull the schedule next week when classes are over. But I'm certainly not scared of anyone getting me based on a myspace profile.

i've just chosen not to let people add to the friends list if I don't know them already in some way or another. I am concerned as a mom, whom I socialize with, because they factor into the big picture. I just think it's an easier way for me to update pics and other announcements instead of bulk emails. if I meet some other alumni doing it that's great too! :D

I guess the news that I've watched over and over about kids getting abducted, and WORSE because of their MySpace profile. I would definitely overreact to these BAD THINGS! MySpace is on the news EVERY WEEK!
