This team collectively has a pretty low basketball IQ! Solid year in spite of that which speaks to the quality of big sky basketball. I suspect Sprinkle recognizes it and will get better and smarter players.

Wow. Ugly half. We played poorly in almost every way. A couple of terrible calls late handed them at least 5 extra points, they shot very well, we didn't and here we are. We clawed back into it before that late flurry too.

I'm afraid that may be the difference. We were back within 6 and then boom. Totally changed the game.

Glad the refs are getting their shine, they seem desperate enough to make this game about them. Defense needs to step up though.

Refs aside, I'd be interested to know what MSU's defensive strategy there was giving the ball handler an uncontested 3 at the buzzer. Play better defense and there's plenty of time to get back in it.
