I would be shocked if McCutcheon doesn't make it into the top 4 in receiving yards in a season. He really has developed so very well the past few years.

It looks like Ifanse will have an outside chance at taking over the top spot by the end of the year. He’s 684 yards short right now and assuming we make it at least to the semis he would have to average 136.8 per game.

Yes, that #15 is a real slacker. He is pretty useless as a LB. Maybe he should try as a RB where he may be able to get out of his own way

Some of these guys played at a time when freshmen were ineligible. Most seasons back then ran either nine or ten games. Really remarkable Don Hass career rushing record of 2,954 was nearly all completed his junior and senior years. He couldn't play as a freshman, rushed for 249 as a sophomore, then 2,705 his final two years.
In my book someone else may come along "as good", say Infanse, but not likely to ever surpass the Iron Tumbleweed!

That’s why I always look at yards per carry. Lots of players have passed Jim Brown in the NFL, but he’s still no. 1 in ypc.

Steve Kracher is no. 1 at MSU at 6.1. Ifanse is second at 5.9. Third is quite a ways back at 5.5.
