I wonder if the Cat Emblem will be lighted? Would really stand out during night games.

Setting up the poles for the new netting.

Just need to get the Cat emblem up there on the side of the building.

Do the poles look a little short to anyone else? I can see visiting kickers trying to kick over the net just for sh.... and giggles.

Since there is a hole for what I think is electrical conduit I think it will light up.

They are shorter and closer in width than the previous poles. The netting may come up to about the same height. I'm wondering if the new scoreboard will be set higher up though.

I remember during a game in 2017 when that kicker from SDSU kicked an extra point up over the old net and hit about halfway up the scoreboard. That was impressive.

I don't mind the BAC not being ready for Gold Rush but they could at least hold the open house on game day. Not everyone comes into town on Friday for Homecoming (but I guess the big donors probably do and that's what matters).

I doubt the team and coaching staff want thousands of fans wandering around their locker room/game prep areas on game day.

Wasn't that the original plan?

Yeah but the game time probably has a lot to do with it.

I think it’s the right call. I was surprised to see the original BAC open house was scheduled on a game day, regardless if it was fully completed or not.

I think it might be worth while for MSU to create a video that previews the BAC, recognizes donors, and promotes the open house during homecoming and play it during the home games. The open house will of course be useful in thanking past donors and opening the wallets of donors once again. Having successful completion of a project is very attractive. Success breeds success.

So is $101million. But does make me think I'm paying to much for medical insurance.

They can paint it any wan they want but it is delayed to Oct. 8th because it won't be done till then. No big deal, it is tough to build something like this amid covid but at least be honest about it.

The QBC Room looks great! Hopefully, the rest of the second floor is done also. We just peeked inside through the door on the Katy Street side during our walk…lots of work still left on the first floor. At least near that entrance and the weight room. Maybe the locker room on the other side is done since they moved lockers in a month or more ago.
