According to ESPN's Eagles 2020 depth chart, he's projecting to start right now!

Playing SAM too. I think he fits the Pro SAM LB position. Hope he turns into the PRO version of Mac Bignell. Rangy and able to break down offenses and make plays at the same time.

Yes, I had a brief for the IR today on him starting, but it landed on the cutting room floor. First time I’ve ever had to cut a Bobcat story. Good cause though. It made room for the local sports weekly schedule, which if I had left it out would’ve been my job. Will request it gets run for tomorrow.

Don't the eagles play a base defense that only has 2 LB's on the field with an extra safety? Don't think they actually start a SAM LB.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 08, 2020 5:46 amYes, I had a brief for the IR today on him starting, but it landed on the cutting room floor. Yes and no. They play a 4-3 base, but they spend 75% of their snaps in dime or nickel. The thing they do a little differently than a lot of teams though is utilize a 3rd safety in those sets. Nathan Gerry, their starting Will is a converted safety. He is definitely smaller for a NFL LB. I expect Alex will still see the field a lot though. And in single backer sets Gerry can slide to safety with Alex playing LB.SACCAT wrote: ↑Tue Sep 08, 2020 10:53 amDon't the eagles play a base defense that only has 2 LB's on the field with an extra safety? Re: Alex Singleton - Ready for the Season
And he got his team into 1st place in the division, and by looks of the NFC East the Igles should win that!
