He and his linemates were unstoppable today. They made Green Bay's D-line look like they were playing in slow motion.

Re: Mike Person
Sure, Pat Donovan, Pat Ogrin, and Jerry Kramer have won. Brock Coyle may have gotten a ring with the Seahawks, not sure on that one. Brock Osweiler grew up in Montana and has a ring too.

Re: Mike Person
The 49ers are the Bobcats of the NFL! Lots of similarities in their offensive production and run game. LOVE IT!

I think they lost when he was there and won while he was in Tampa.WalkOn79 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 11:01 amPretty sure Dane has a ring with the Patriots.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Re: Mike Person
You are right. He was on the roster of the 2015 Pats that won it all. It’s a gray area for fans as he tore his ACL in preseason that year missed the entire season. Retired after the super bowl.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2020 1:59 pmIncorrect.CatBlitz wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 6:07 pmCorrect.LTown Cat wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 2:26 pmI think they lost when he was there and won while he was in Tampa.WalkOn79 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 11:01 amPretty sure Dane has a ring with the Patriots.

Re: Mike Person
I was responding to the comment that he won a ring with Tampa Bay. He was at TB in 2014. TB won it in 2002, not 2014.ilovethecats wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2020 8:54 amYou are right. Re: Mike Person
I didn’t read it that way. I don’t think the ouster was suggesting he won it with Tampa Bay in 2002. He was barely in high school then.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2020 9:13 amI was responding to the comment that he won a ring with Tampa Bay. He was at TB in 2014. I read it as they were figuring out if he was in NE when they won it or if he missed out in his one season in Tampa in ‘14. I just pointed out that he lost the first one he played in, went to Tampa, but came back in ‘15 when the Pats won the whole thing.
I just don’t think we read the comments the same.

Re: Mike Person
It's very cool to see Mike's perseverance rewarded. I'm sorta torn about who to cheer for in the SB. I've always cheered for the Chiefs just because I'm old enough to remember when Jan Stenerud played for them (and probably should have won the MVP when they beat the Vikes in SB IV), and as a Rams fan I've never liked the Niners, but it would be hard to cheer against Mike's team too.
