Baxter Hotel, that's what I was thinking of! All I could remember was Bacchus and Robin Lounge.

I hope you will have more say than your cousin did and not get married on a football weekend - much less Cat-Griz. I think you were one of the ones punished for this as well, but I'm not sure as that came on the tail end of one of my long vacations to Central Montana.

I definitely won't be making the same mistake that BS did on his wedding planning. I've never been so nervous in a church in my life as that wedding ... until another cousin came in late and gave us the thumbs-up sign that the Cats had held on to beat the Griz.

I also hope to plan it for much warmer weather than he did.

I'm RTB's sister and I'd back that up.... The Stadium Club was fantastic for a reception. We had the doors open so guests could go out in the stands... It was the best wedding that I've been to!

We had looked at the Lazy B ranch, too, and really liked it. The only problem with it was that it didn't have an elevator and I have an aunt with MS. Otherwise the setting of it was gorgeous!

There is always Springhill pavillion to consider, too! Good luck!

OOH, and the BEST photographer in the WORLD is Sabine Warden. Look her up in the phonebook or I'll post her website. Her rates were extremely reasonable, she was super nice, and the photos were fantastic!

What is that hotel in Three Forks? Or did it close down? It was like the Sacajawea Inn or something... I know they've had weddings there.

You've got the name right, but it keeps changing ownership, so I don't know what the current status is.

I work as a DJ and I do mostly weddings. The three best places in Bozeman I have been are (in no particular order) the Gallatin Gateway Inn (classy, beautiful building), the Gallatin Valley Lodge (same), and the Springhill Pavilion (rustic but beautiful, especially at dusk, GREAT food).

Another good choice is Chico Hot Springs, if it is not already booked full. The convention center is a great place (I have been to 3 weddings/receptions there, all were excellent).

Hmm, as far as receptions go, not much choices as far as downtown, although one that comes immediatley to mind is the Wilson.

The Sacajawea Inn would be a great place to get married, I'd guess. I don't have any marriage plans, but I'd think it would be a great place. For me, it would have an extra incentive since my great grandparents owned it in the 1950s and 1960s. But all of those other places sound good, too. It's just too bad you couldn't get married at the 50 yard line or maybe even in the fieldhouse. I'd go for that.

GO CATS!
It's always a good day to be a Bobcat fan! :) =D^ \:D/
