Just out of curiosity I am following WKU and Robison has not signed at WKU yet. But I fully expect him to.

Or maybe he won't, and his letter will roll in late to MSU!

West coast so maybe a lunch time signing day event or something?

Based on how well Tucker performed down the stretch, the signing of Matt McKay, and the signing of "Touchdown" Tommy Mellott, I feel much better about Grady decommitting.

Emphasis on "next few hours" on this post. Remember, coaches can hop on the phone today to continue recruiting kids. Plays an effect.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 10:11 amThe next few hours are going to be very interesting. We have some big-time recruits the coaches are trying to reel-in to sign this period. One, in particular, would make Bobcatnation pretty damn excited.

No doubt about it. I'm much more comfortable with that than I would have been a month ago.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 11:41 amBased on how well Tucker performed down the stretch, the signing of Matt McKay, and the signing of "Touchdown" Tommy Mellott, I feel much better about Grady decommitting.

me too, I am feeling pretty good about the QB room right now, still would have liked to have that kid thoughVimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 11:41 amBased on how well Tucker performed down the stretch, the signing of Matt McKay, and the signing of "Touchdown" Tommy Mellott, I feel much better about Grady decommitting.

I don't really agree.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 11:41 amBased on how well Tucker performed down the stretch, the signing of Matt McKay, and the signing of "Touchdown" Tommy Mellott, I feel much better about Grady decommitting.
McKay doesn't change a lot. Same graduation date as Rovig.
I like Mellott, but I'm just skeptical of him being a BSC QB. Hope I'm wrong, but I'm just not seeing it.
I'd like to see another recruit or young transfer brought in. Obviously, lots of time.

Dang I have been away from the board the last few days and had no idea. Sorry and that was one I was hopeful for.coachouert wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 11:31 amHe flipped to Western Kentucky.ibleedblue wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 11:30 amDid I miss something or are we still waiting on QB Robinson. In my defense, I see that any posts made about his commitment change are on the second page now so wasn’t easy to see. Too much good happening in our program that fills the front page!

I don't think anybody likes that he decommitted, but having these guys softens the blow considerably.bobcat99 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 11:49 amI don't really agree.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 11:41 amBased on how well Tucker performed down the stretch, the signing of Matt McKay, and the signing of "Touchdown" Tommy Mellott, I feel much better about Grady decommitting.

I would've agreed with you prior to Tommy's senior season. He improved enough for me to consider him a legit FCS quarterback recruit.bobcat99 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 11:49 amI don't really agree.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 11:41 amBased on how well Tucker performed down the stretch, the signing of Matt McKay, and the signing of "Touchdown" Tommy Mellott, I feel much better about Grady decommitting.

I think that McKay does make a difference, he brings a level of competition to the QB room, TR has to continue to improve to maintain his job.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 11:53 amI would've agreed with you prior to Tommy's senior season.
