SE Missouri, MSU’s opponent next week, is struggling at home against SIU. Game is tied 7-7 midway through second quarter. SIU is out of the MVFC and was 2-9 last year.

Game is on espn+.

NAU is up 6-3 in second on Pluto.
Cookus not doing well but is it him or plugrad plays? Receivers not finding the ball or even fighting for the possession. Balls deep dropping on the ground a yard away from receivers without even attempting to catch. announcer say it's the loudest they heard the skydome in four years. However looking at the seats there less than 1/3 full

NAU up 20 -6 at half. Hanky war. And missed calls of late hits on cookus. NAU will roll.

SDSU played really well vs Minnesota. Lost 28-21. Minnesota won three of its last four games last year in impressive fashion. They beat Purdue, Wisconsin and then Georgia Tech in a bowl game by convincing scores. SDSU lost a lot of key players from last year’s team. SDSU had more first downs and yards.

SEMO came on strong and ended up winning by the expected margin. Another future opponent, W. Illinois, lost to N. Alabama. I would’ve predicted a win by W. Illinois, but not a big surprise as they lost some good players off a better than average team and No. Alabama is good.

MSU’s first league opponent, NAU, looked good and won convincingly, as expected, despite not being able to establish a ground game.
