Massey has NDSU as 49:1 favorites.

My guess is they’ll be about 25-28 point favorites. But that’s why they play the game.

NDSU has build a program that is actually hard to believe. They are playing like a top 20 FBS team right now. I'm not saying it's impossible for MSU to keep in close but IMO it would require some HUGE breaks, like they're QB and maybe a few other key players getting ejected, or 5+ fluke turnovers for us, etc.
Let's face it - NDSU is a Top 20 FBS team. Maybe even a Top 15. They're that solid & consistent.

However, they will not overmatch us at every position, whether they believe that or not. They do not have a Troy Anderson at QB. They do not have an athlete like Jonsen on their entire roster. They do not have a true frosh RB like we have.

They also have not dismantled a legacy FCS program who is their bitter rival like the Bobcats have done to the dark pink fags. In fact, last time NDSU played the jizz I don't think things went too well for them.
wait..what?? QB Easton Stick will be drafted in NFL but your qb is better? oh this thread just keeps delivering... I like it!! more more. :)

Lakesbison - Thanks for joining us. Good to hear your perspectives. Let's face it, your program is the envy of all FCS (and much of FBS) and your boys will be at least 20-point favorites next week. Is there a mathematical chance we can win? Of course. Is it likely? Of course not. But we are just as proud of our boys as you are of yours so please forgive a little hubris on our board.

Keep up the chat. Keep it classy. Let's enjoy the build up to the game.

ive been on this board 10 years!
in the 2010 ndsu at Montana St game I even made the bozeman gazette as a fan wrote an Op-ed piece praising my buddy and I for the good times & donating our ndsu tailgate lot "pass the hat" to a fallen bozeman police officer.

we are good buddy :) should be a fun game!

ps. i dont see anything wrong w this thread. couple people calling each idiots? psh thats childs play.. then 5 pages of everyone complaining about 2 posts... welcome to the message board community I guess!! haha

Vegas/Odds always over estimates NDSU for years now as Vegas has taking a pounding for all the NDSU v FBS games where NDSU were underdogs last 6 times and basicaly everyone hit the moneyline for big wins.

actual spread is probably 20 IMO

I'm guessing MSU is pretty thinly wagered, but I have to believe we've covered most spreads this year.

Looks like 4 times this year we didn't win ATS. The rest we did:

I got a feeling, everybody get onboard!
I called for it 3 weeks ago. 6 game win streak underway.

So here's a question....If we beat NDSU and unseeded JMU beats 8th seed Colgate, were would we play?

It would be determined by the bids from MSU and JMU, since neither team is seeded.

That's not a good sign. They're one of the few teams in FCS who get more fans in the stands than we do. It's possible we outbid them anyway. I HOPE IT'S AN ISSUE.

Ya, this was discussed in a different thread. Would be interesting to see who bid more. If our admin is smart they would have bid this one super high given the likely crowd if MSU were to spring the upset v NDSU. MSU out drew JMU by about 3,000 for the first round playoff game.

I don't know much about the bidding process. How is it done and what about it do you think is a joke?

How can you refer to us as a top 20 FBS team and then in the same breath state we do not have athletes to match Jonsen or Anderson??

Do teams that play Alabama occasionally have a couple players that are considered better?
