I liked the room created for troy in the drop back looks there, hope we stay with that, because we can't do s$#@ against them in our power game. Keep spreading them out and school yarding it.

#7 should have been ejected for throwing a punch. Jonsen got body slammed onto the bench 10 yards out of bounds. I'd be playing chippy too.GoldstoneCat wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 2:44 pmYes. A self-aware griz fan, he's not. Is there such a thing, though? #lifesgreatmysteries

What's funny is he threw to his 1st read or tucked it on 90% of the pass plays that half. He just happened to be successful.mtgrizfankb wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 2:46 pmyeah they really keyed on that sneed 1st readBleedingBLue wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 2:43 pmGotta calm down the undisciplined crap post play and the defense needs to dominate for us to have a chance to win this game. BH is known as one of the most disciplinarian based coaches around, talk to any coach in the FCS.... but im guessing you have never talked to any. They all respect Hauck and his demand of his players. All you remember from Hauck Pt1 is getting your ass kicked every single year and you feeling bad about the cats. I get it...its easy to hate someone who has caused so much pain.

You obviously have never known football. every single long distance pass was 2nd read or deeper. even the Akem TD was a 2nd read. You just have no idea what you are looking at because you have never studied football or played football...i get it...its okay to not knowBleedingBLue wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 2:49 pmWhat's funny is he threw to his 1st read or tucked it on 90% of the pass plays that half. Griz fans.....I know it's fun to troll on here, especially when it's going well for you, but can't you guys wait until after the game? We're all trying to discuss the game as it unfolds and your ongoing crap gets in the way. Honest request.

Re: The OFFICIAL/unofficial Cat-griz gameday thread...
As ugly as it was at times in the first half, the defense isn’t playing horrible. Not great, but not too bad. They’ve been put in bad spots all game with the griz starting around mid field multiple times. The griz have made some great catches and the Cats have shot themselves in the foot far too often with penalties.
On offense it was downright ugly, but that score before half was huge. They get the ball back after half and if they can make something happen on that first drive then it’s a game.
This team hasn’t given up all year and I don’t see it happening today.
The griz have s*** the bed more than once this year after halftime and the Cats have consistently been a second half team. Hopefully that trend can continue.
Along ways to go, but I’m going to look at this half glass full style for now.
If the griz score again before the Cats do in the second half, then it may be over.

I remember a lot more than that from BH part 1. And most of it had to do with a lack of discipline & accountability. But yes, he did win a whole bunch of games.mtgrizfankb wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 2:51 pmBH is known as one of the most disciplinarian based coaches around, talk to any coach in the FCS.... but im guessing you have never talked to any. I agree with you, whatever else the choate philosophy is, and/or isn't, his teams play hard and don't quit. If we can manufacture another score here, the pressure starts to shift back to them. That's the big question though: can our offense, simplistic as it looks, manufacture enough to get back in it?Catsrgrood wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 2:55 pmAs ugly as it was at times in the first half, the defense isn’t playing horrible. They are nervous. Griz led UC Davis 21 to 3 at half.

He’s a real hard ass. Except, you know, when his players rape women and shoot people dead.mtgrizfankb wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 2:51 pmBH is known as one of the most disciplinarian based coaches around, talk to any coach in the FCS.... but im guessing you have never talked to any. Great punt followed by three plays for 50+ yards.
