Just spoke with him. He actually goes by Lewis.

I have spoken with or contacted every single kid listed on the first page of this thread. We are working on a comprehensive table for Skyline as we speak. I'll post when it's complete.
Awesome Colter! I'll change his name.

OK I see the thread now, guess TRC is Balue Chapman

Thought he was already committed?

Good get anyway -- that kid can motor and pop - I hope to see him at LB/OLB

This kid is a product of a long line of football players and coaching (NFL)! He played somewhere out in Michigan until his father landed a job in Boise. Long story short, this kid made some sort of Alltime Michigan top 50 list as a Junior. The entire West didn't see anything of him except for his Senior year. He might be a "sleeper" get for us. The CATS have an ace in the hole, Grandpa Criner lives in the Gallatin Valley.
That would have Steve Criner, former Boise head coach.....
I think the Grandpa is Jim Criner, who won a Nat Championship with Boise when they were 1-aa. I think the Dad is Mark Criner - former DCoordinator for Idaho and is now at Lamar University. I'm not entirely positive - there are a lot of Criner's involved in the Coaching profession, and they're all related.
After I posted I thought the first name was wrong. ..Thanks for the correction.

I'm talking to Balue later tonight so I'll have an updated story soon.

Man, Chapman has a nice tape. Very explosive first step, and my favorite part, he STRIKES out when he engages. Has a very violent initial punch. Good strength for his size.

Definitely needs a redshirt year to put on weight. Have to wonder if they'll put him at LB. He's kinda small for a DE, but I think that's his best position too. Will get compared to Brad Daly a lot.

He is going to be a stud, my guess OLB, congrats Mr. Chapman.

Dane Fletcher -- NFL
Brock Coyle -- NFL
Grant Collins -- should be all Big Sky soon, could he follow his Dad's footsteps into the NFL?

Spoke with Balue earlier. He is very excited to become a Bobcat. I have umpired little league baseball with Balue several times over the last few years and he's a great kid, fun to talk with. Here's the updated story:

For those on Skyline, Colter just posted the "MSU recruits with offers" spreadsheet like last year. Good stuff!

I noticed he has Dawonya Tucker in the "verbal" section . . . is that a mistake or did he recommit?

Assuming mistake because he also has him on the "offer" page. However, we have kept recruiting him and he follows our new coaches. He hasn't really got the big school offers even after his breakout senior season. I think Texas wants him to walk-on.

I hope he does the Red chip/Blue chip thing he's done in the past; helps us who don't get to watch MTHS football get an idea of the recruits quality. Also thanks Vim, for the time you've spent doing the rankings of the MTHS kids, great insight!

It is not a mistake. Dawonya Tucker is a soft verbal. He recinded his verbal commitment to MSU publicly but has given his verbal internally to a MSU coach according to a reliable source. But he has not recommitted publicly, making him a wait until signing day sort of player. To complicate matters, he does not have a cell phone so I have not been able to reach him personally. As of now, he continues to lean toward MSU.
