Funny story about PETA:

They're headquartered near Virginia Beach, VA, and a cousin of mine is a Navy SEAL stationed there. I try to go visit him a couple times a year, and there was an advertisement for an annual "PETA Fishing Derby," which apparently is an annual event sponsored by a local anti-PETA group. The rules of the competition were as follows: (1) fishermen had their choice of whether they wanted to keep their fish or release them, but they had to kill the fish they caught regardless of whether they kept them; and (2) the only bait that was allowed were small pieces of roast beef.

I am a huge animal fan but not a fan of PETA. They are a little over the top. But I do believe that all kids should be on a leash until at least age 14 and if a dog attacks someones kid they should put the kid down and treat the dog for rabies! Now thats not too over the top is it????

"Even if animal tests produced a cure for AIDS, we'd be against it."
- PETA president and co-founder Ingrid Newkirk
(Oh, and AIDS killed 3.1 Million people in 2004, and has killed over 20 million since 1981.)

If God didn't want animals to be eaten, why did he make them out of meat?

PETA is just not friendly to people. The South Park episode that had PETA was hilarious, except for Cartman's quote about "I don't want my mascot to be an eagle or a faggy Bobcat." I was eating lunch with a vegetarian today. It was fun to eat that big double cheeseburger in front of him. Jimmy Buffett didn't sing "Vegetarian Casserole in Paradise." He sang "Cheeseburger in Paradise!" And us Montanans like our beef.

GO CATS!
It's always a good day to be a Bobcat fan! :) =D^ \:D/

I'll never forget when I was in school in the early 90's and there were some animal rights protesters in the Sub towards the North end where that glass partion was/is. Someone had put up a sign on the glass behind them saying "Because of Animal Testing, These People Can Protest 20 Years Longer". I thought that was a classic. They had no clue!
