I'm not sure most cat fans realize how very very fortunate we have all been to watch that young man play football for four years. Unbelievable talent and competitiveness. Talk about a highlight reel. He deserves to go out on a positive - beating the grizzlies and moving into the playoffs. If for some reason the catz get beat Saturday lets hope the fans can somehow find it inside their selfish personna to stay until the end. These seniors and this team deserve itnthat much respect.

Plus, he manned up and accepted full responsibility for that final play, as he always has after tough losses when he didn't play well. He's a great kid who has never gotten in trouble for anything, is always polite and courteous, and treats everyone with respect. But (and you had to know there was a "but" coming) that last play illustrates why I would take Lulay over McGhee. Lulay was the very definition of clutch. How many times did he lead us to miraculous, come from behind wins during his career? I couldn't help but think during the final moments of that game on Saturday, that Lulay, somehow, some way, would have figured out a way to pull off the win.
I also was unaware we had a chance to choose another qb. when did Travis get his elgibility back!

I'm thankful Denarius gave my 5 year old a positive role model. For three years running my son has chose to be Denarius for Halloween. Most mornings I come in to his room to find him watching bobcat highlights and pretending to be Denarius. It's rare these days to have a young man be in the spot light and display such high character. I'm proud to have my son look at Denarius as a role model and can only hope our next QB has even half the character as him.
Here's to hoping we are blessed enough to watch him play beyond this weekend and maybe even on a Sunday.

DMac is indeed the epitome of a class student athlete. It would be fitting to see him experience beating UM in Bobcat Stadium. Come to think of it, I can hardly remember the last time that happened. Whenever it was I think we took the goal posts down to the Rockin R.
