A little tennis smack?

Griz women wrap up the Big Sky title today with a win over.........Can you guess?

That's the only smack I got right now on current sports between UM/MSU ..............

Okay, I'll play.

I'd like to say that we would get revenge on the men's side, but wait it seems the Griz men already lost...seems to be a common theme over there to have the women showing up the men. Maybe you all could get your women's teams to help your men's teams out a bit.

Oh and PS, you may want to check those results a bit closer, as the Griz women are only in the semifinals, so they couldn't have "wrapped up the Big Sky title."

yah but, we dominated the total stats....if it hadn't been for our injuries and those two costly turnovers, it would have been a different result.................. finally got to use that excuse.

You were a little premature. Gris tennis team lost to NAU this morning and are now eliminated fron the tourney.

Not so fast! Broken finger nails suffered tying tennis shoes don't count! I'd suggest MSU go back to the Velcro shoes!!!!

Who cares! We beat the MIGHTY Bobcats! That makes our season. We don't care about win/loss records, or playoffs or what have you!

You coach is a whiner! Your program is sinking fast! Your driving the Montana kids away! You can only get out of state talent (if that's what you call it)! Your city is full of tree huggers! You know what UM and MSU really needs? A "fishing team"! We could really get some good stuff going on that!

Okay okay so I got a little excited. The women didn't take home the title but they showed up the Cats....

Women helping out the men? I'm not so sure. It was the opposite in the Griz/Cat duel yesterday. Griz men took home the title while the MSU women took home theirs....This is one of the only rivalries I know of in the country where every sport matters.
