Moss Earns Co-Player of the Week Honors

Post by kmax » Mon Jan 10, 2005 5:31 pm

From MSU Sports Information:
Bobcat forward Marvin Moss earned Big Sky Conference Men's
Basketball Co-Player of the Week for leading the Bobcats to its first
road sweep in three seasons over the weekend.

Moss, a 6-6 junior from Silver Spring, Md., scored 18 points on
7-for-11 shooting in MSU's 76-67 win over Weber on Thursday, and was
6-for-11 for a career-high 23 points with nine boards on Saturday at
Idaho State. The 'Cats won both ends of the weekend road swing.

Moss is the first Bobcat to earn Player of the Week kudos this
season. He shares the honor with Portland State's Seamus Boxley.

I am a high school teacher of Marvin Moss' from Maryland. He is a great young man who has worked hard and gone through a lot to get where he is. So glad to see he is doing well, I enjoy following his progress and rooting for the Bobcats!

Hey EZ,

Thanks for chiming in. He must be a very special kid. We're very glad that he chose MSU. He'll get a great education (to build off what you undoubtedly started) AND he is a great asset for the Cats.

Best,
