Sitting at home last year really sucked.
I was in Bozeman last year the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Several inches of fresh snow, temp in the teens, and the wind howling like a bastard. That would have been a swell day for a playoff game against a southern team.

Between the weather and the altitude; homefield advantage ought to be a great advantage!!

Do you post on AGS? I saw an almost identical one there this morning. Just curious.

We beat Louisiana Tech at the Citadel in 84.
Must've been Arkansas St. then since I don't think Rhode Island would have been that unprepared.

Unfortunately for Portland State, who only had quality losses, the message sent from the Big Sky Conference is loud and clear.

Portland State had a 1-A win (just like MSU). And, suffered no bad losses (unlike MSU).

This is the biggest gift in the history of I-AA to host at 7-4.

YOU KNOW IT. ADMIT IT. PLAY THE GAME AND SEE WHAT YOU DO.

GO DOUG GO DOUG GO DOUG GO.
As you see in the rule book Doug can not vote for teams with in the Big Sky Conference. Also, the Cats beat Portland 14-0 -- that should count for something. Early season losses can be improved on as the season goes on, but late season losses ends your season. Say that ten times. My point is, I do not think doug had anything to do with the playoff at-large bid for MSU.
