Ah yes. Agreed. I forgot about that since I quickly cued forward until Troy's head popped up. That was bunk tho.AFCAT wrote: ↑Thu Feb 17, 2022 12:15 pmI was thinking more along the lines of the 2 minute wait on the video before Troy came on. That could have easily been edited out. No big deal, just humorous to me.

The write-ups lag behind the rankings. This is probably from some time mid-season this year. Everything will be updated when they finish their draft guide.

Re: Troy Freaking Andersen!
Sioux Falls has had huge growth in both the population and economy over the last decade. Denny Sanford, the richest man in SD, has been a huge benefactor to the healthcare system that bears his name now. Beyond just expanding the Sanford Health footprint, he has been a key in building a bunch of indoor and outdoor sports complexes in Sioux Falls and the surrounding area. This also includes filling a huge gap in the sports performance realm in the state and region and has used the Sanford Health system as the organization to provide the structure to support this endeavor. As much effort as Sanford Health is trying to expand into other markets and industries of healthcare, it makes sense for them to also keep expanding in the sports arena. The Butcher wrote: ↑Thu Feb 17, 2022 12:40 pmIt is crazy that Rep 1 is part of Sanford Health which is a hospital system based out of Sioux Falls (the largest in the Dakotas). They were actually going to merge with Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake (the largest healthcare system in Utah), but Sanford Health's ex-CEO made some embarrassing statements and the merger was canceled. Anyway, a hospital system getting into sport agency isn't something that I would have expected.DMMDCats wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 11:02 pmhttps://www.forbes.com/companies/rep-1- ... 0ea93a7683BLACKnBLUEnGOLD wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 8:57 pmI do not keep up with sports agents really at all. Is that closer to Tom Condon or the goofy dudes you get at the beginning of Superstar Mode on Madden?
With more than $1 billion in active contracts, Rep 1 Sports has further cemented itself as one of the top multi-sport agencies in the world.
On a side note, Denny Sanford came into his wealth with his credit card company and the shady practice of marketing high interest, subprime credit cards to people with low credit scores
And he is also currently having some ongoing legal issues........

1) Lions are better than CFL
2) I would LOVE to see Andersen in a Lions Jersey
3) I hope he doesn't go to the Lions, as I respect him to much, and want him to succeed in the NFL...

NFL Draft Player Profile: Troy Andersen, Linebacker, Montana State
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 235 pounds
2021 stats: 147 tackles, 7 passes defensed, 2 interceptions, 2.0 sacks
Key traits: Dynamic in all he does. Always around the football. Converted running back that accomplished a lot in wildcat and particularly from the 10-yard line and in. Close to a certainty to score on offense when it’s goal to go. Tracks the football with his eyes and has the speed to get there (many players have one trait or the other…Andersen has both). Blitzes cleanly, anticipating snap counts so as not to get chipped when penetrating the line. Plays with very good leverage when pursuing perimeter runs, getting over top of pullers with seemingly little effort. Good in pass coverage if the scheme puts him in that position. Not the hardest hitter but a sure tackler. Will never give up on a play.
Ideal position: Inside linebacker (WILL or MIKE)
Potential draft spot: Round 3, Pick 105
Why he’d be a good fit: The Draft Network’s Joe Marino, in the first words of his report on Andersen, said, “Troy Andersen is the most versatile player in the 2022 NFL Draft.” Marino goes on to say, “He has easy movement skills in coverage and can serve as a matchup defender to play some man…it’s abundantly clear that he’s still new to playing linebacker.” If he’s performing well in man coverage and making 147 tackles a year while still learning the position…wow.
Named the FCS Defensive Player of the Year, it’s apparent there’s not much Andersen can’t do. Especially in an organization like the Ravens that have the infrastructure to maximize unique potential like Andersen’s (not just defensively), it would be well worth their while to strongly consider drafting him.
Think of a lighter, faster version of Patrick Ricard. Think of what Mike Macdonald (and Greg Roman) could be dealing with if Baltimore drafts Andersen.
Cool side note: Rushed for 1,412 yards in 13 games (109 per game) during his freshman year at Montana State.
Bottom line: Grab a coffee, watch this highlight package, and enjoy.

MSU wanted him to wear 15 his whole career so it would either be retired or honored in some other way.

Yeah, child pornography investigation... Yikes. With his wealth and age he probably will never see a courtroom though.cats_thirdeye wrote: ↑Thu Feb 17, 2022 11:34 pmOn a side note, Denny Sanford came into his wealth with his credit card company and the shady practice of marketing high interest, subprime credit cards to people with low credit scores

On an even creepier aside, I was in Sioux Falls in December for my son's soccer tournament. Almost every facility/complex that had his name on it seemed to have a statue of him with kids.

So, apparently there's a boycott of the combine, up too 155 players, due to covid restrictions. Wonder how that will affect Troy?

I have a feeling they'll get it worked out and everybody will be there. I don't think the NFL can afford to have that many players miss it. And maybe the 155 players can't afford to miss it either.

The NFL will give. The teams and owners will be beyond pissed if they miss out on that many medicals.
