I would LOVE to know who some of these coaches are.

That was my guess for his prediction as well. It has to be one where we aren't mentioned and the other options don't sound like him.
Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

He should know since he doesn't understand what it takes to win the game.

I wonder if he's the losingest coach in championship game history (0-4).

Because of an answer, one of the coaches must be from the Lobo's.

I feel confident we win this game by 9 points. For some reason, 30-21 is my prediction.

I have been a Bobcat fan since the early/mid 70's. Without a doubt this is the best team I think we have ever had. The Cats have had big stars before but this team is more complete and way deeper that any I remember in the past. I think NDSU is a better matchup than SDSU was for us. I feel that we have a team that can go toe to toe with NDSU and win, even if it comes down to a close game. That being said NDSU is still the gold standard of this division, it wont be easy but baring any freak injuries or un characteristic play I think the Cats win this one.
Cats by 10 or more

This one had Eck energy to me:
Hard to call honestly both teams are built with good O & DL. Run the Ball well. And have great fan bases. I would go with Montana State. They were the only FCS team we played this year that made me go damn they are good. Their defense plays with their hair on fire and strain to the ball, their offense has a proven winner and one of the best players in college football at the helm playing QB. And they run the ball behind a great offensive line. I think it’s the bobcats time.

This hasn't been talked about recently but do we think we'll be wearing the 1984 throwbacks for the game? They haven't made an appearance yet this year and I figured we'd wear them at some point to commemorate the 40th anniversary.

I hope not. Because in ten years or 40 years I want those teams to wear the 2024 throwbacks.

I’m with you on this.
I suspect we’ll either see the all-blue unis with gold helmets or what we’ve seen more of this season; white helmets with white pants and a blue jersey.
griz fans; keeping it classy and gracious in winning since ... well, never.

Yep. I kind of wanted them for Cat Griz, but not for this one.

This is a decent prediction, but I would be surprised if the Cats match the season low point total for this game, without multiple turnovers. Yes I know NDSU is close to if not the best D they've faced, but the Cat offense is almost unstoppable when rolling. I also know we can't exactly call this a home game, but it's certainly not an away game like some portray. I get the concept that Frisco is like a home game for NDSU but that's probably referring to, when the NDSU fans greatly outnumber the opposing fans, and the NDSU players have played there multiple years in a row whereas opponents haven't. Neither of those things are true this year. Plus... the weather might suck which probably slightly favors the Cats!
Great time to be a BOBCAT!

NDSU 31
MSU 21
Late pick 6 by NDSU to seal it.
NDSU will bring back some OLD SCHOOL clock management, Run the ball more and Eat clock.
Defensively NDSU was blitzing alot more recently, but this game it'll be back to the squeeze everything to the middle.
Tommy won't get outside.
You'll remember the name Marty Brown by the end of this game.
How is his toe doing, he didn't look too effective against SDSU.
I still think Adam Jones is a better Fr running back but no doubt Brown is good too, do you think you will be able to keep him for 4 years?
No he will be GONE Nebraska and Kansas State fighting over him

I like it! I was thinking about the position breakdowns and hopefully someone more knowledgeable will put that together but I'd have to think, just looking at the offense we're getter at QB, OL, RB, TE, Kicker, Punter, Punt Return, Long Snapper (yes it matters), etc? Maybe WR goes to them, but who knows. This offense is insanely talented.
I read one on X the other day by a couple sports writers. Obviously it was their take but overall we held more of an advantage over all. They broke it down form
Tackle to tackle, center to center etc. Gave me more confidence, like I needed more. But then again I’m
not playing. We win this by 14 or more!
With success comes attention, with attention comes cockiness, with cockiness comes arrogance, with arrogance comes rudeness...and they wonder why I hate the Griz ! FTG

No team has yet had to deal with the combination of a healthy Scottre Humphrey and a Mellott playing unleashed. In other words, no one has seen the most dangerous version of this offense yet. If Humphrey is 100%, I could see the margin getting bigger than what a lot of people are expecting.

I realize this is a very simplistic way of viewing this, but I believe that we are better than last year, and NDSU is worse than last year.
We win by 14+.

There are 1984 throwbacks? Seems highly unlikely that the team wouldn't have worn them yet if they had them available. People were calling for the team to wear them way back at Homecoming.

One of the reoccurring themes I've heard has to do with expectations. This year there's an expectation to win. In 2021 it was this insane magical run. This year, it's like business. I can't remember which interview, cuz I've listened to so many haha, but basically they said the fans just knew the Cats would win each playoff game. The game still had to be played, but the confidence level of the fans has changed. The confidence of the team has changed. They're not just thrilled to be going, they expected to be going, practiced and played to be going, and will give everything they have to bring that trophy back to Bozeman. It's just different. I'm thinking tied at half, 2-3 score win.

How about gold rush jerseys so we troll all the NDSU fans that show up with yellow?
But realistically I’m hoping for all blue with the gold helmets.
