What is his bowling average? Sounds like he's the Mookie Betts od FCS football.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 30, 2025 2:10 pmFrokjer is one of the best athletes on the team. He was one of the best hoop players in Utah last year. Averaged 16 and 7. He's currently a +2 handicap golfer. Was the No. 1 for the last 3 years at his school on the golf team. Took second in the javelin at the state track meet and was all-state in football. He played quarterback his sophomore year, then moved to WR and safety. Kicked a 58-yard FG in high school and had at least one other over 50 yards. Runs the 100m in the mid-11s.

I’m not saying Vigen has missed this season. But Reed outperformed Wilson in practice last year but game film flipped them on the depth chart. Vigen said that last year. So, it’s possible Duchiene is outperforming Wilson in practice but Wilson is better in actual games.

Then it wasn't a miss last year either. If you are not performing in practice you have to wait your turn. If you then show you are a better in game player you may move up, which is what happened. I would think though very few players will be the guy if they underperformed consistently at practiceCodyCat wrote: ↑Wed Oct 01, 2025 9:07 amI’m not saying Vigen has missed this season. Having watched a lot of Fall camp practices, it appeared to be a very close competition between the two. I can see where Duchein edged him out. However, Chance seems to go to another level when in a game. Some players are like that.tetoncat wrote: ↑Wed Oct 01, 2025 10:05 amThen it wasn't a miss last year either. I haven't been to any practices, but the narrative I've spun up in my head is that Duchein is the better, more efficient operator of the full offense, while Chance is electric in the QB run game.bobcatbob wrote: ↑Wed Oct 01, 2025 2:14 pmHaving watched a lot of Fall camp practices, it appeared to be a very close competition between the two. Re: Take a Chance
From someone that was able to take in several practices and scrimmages during fall camp, your narrative is the same as mine. Chance can be electric as we saw. Personally, I was thinking Duchein could be QB1 after watching camp if given the reins. He didn’t look the part last game with some poor decisions. Always tough to gage the 2nd and 3rd string QB’s in at the end of blowouts. Pretty difficult when surrounded by other 2’s and 3’s and often play calling can be limited. Chance made the most of his opportunity last weekend!wbtfg wrote: ↑Wed Oct 01, 2025 3:15 pmI haven't been to any practices, but the narrative I've spun up in my head is that Duchein is the better, more efficient operator of the full offense, while Chance is electric in the QB run game.bobcatbob wrote: ↑Wed Oct 01, 2025 2:14 pmHaving watched a lot of Fall camp practices, it appeared to be a very close competition between the two. Re: Take a Chance
Chance looked electric on his touchdown run. His acceleration was remarkable. Other guys looked like they were a full gear slower. He did nothing that screamed he should be the backup, but I would like to get him a touch or two on a jet sweep or quick pitch to the outside.
