Noticed the roster also had Alexander as a senior, and I know he’s not that.

And still keep that Texas recruiting connection.

Saw this while I was on X... How did we get so fortunate? Wasn't he a HC in the mid-west, or going to be? Glad we were able to pull that move.

Is it that damn tough to get the roster correct? Bios also need to be correct/updated. They also need to add the players socials to their bios like every other college program. This will help “personalize” the players w/ fan base, improve their following and help w/ NIL.

It has always made me laugh at how bad they are at updating the roster.

Hell, I would volunteer to do it for free! They just need to give me access.

I already do a better job of tracking and updating the statistics…. Might as well do the roster as well.

Looks like that is fixed.

Saw that Hunter Provience is listed as a Sophomore, but I'm fairly sure he played in 4 games which would preserve his redshirt ... Dominic Solano is also listed as a sophomore but to my knowledge, he didn't play last year. Could be a mistake

If history is any judge, we shouldn't trust much information on the roster until the season starts. :)

Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

Aidan Parks, Michael Armstrong, Aaron Richards, Bear Old, and Elijah Reynolds all are listed as retiring from the program as well.

Interesting, Talon Marsh (DL - former Montana Gatorade Player of the Year) is now listed as a fullback
Aidan Parks and Aaron Richards will be graduating from MSU so they got their degrees. Armstrong was injured his first year which is a killer for PWOs. Bear Old didn't work his way into the two-deep and got beat out by freshman this past fall so he had a tall task to get back in the mix. Elijah is an interesting one because a year ago he was arguably beating out Ryan Lonergan for reps behind Pick and Snell. Then he played a ton this spring with Rylan Schlepp on the opposite team during the spring game. Then MSU signed Hunter Provience who was a highly touted recruit. Finally, after fall camp was done Elijah was suddenly 5th/6th on the depth chart behind Snell, Pick, Lonergan, Schlepp, and Provience. I think there was an injury in there but another competition situation where a kid got beat out. If he does end up transferring to UM to join his brother, he'll be competing against three TEs who are very well thought of over there. He's a CET which is a very specific major so I'm assuming he'd want to finish his schooling. Anyway, wish all these guys the best. Football is hard.

Aidan Parks was a classic example of a coaching change hurting his role. He was a tweener out of high school but his tape was so dominant as a LB. He just never got into the rotation at nickel, safety, or LB at MSU. He also suffered an injury on special teams against NDSU in his final game. Again, football is hard.

I don't love or hate the FB move for Talon Marsh. I'm willing to see how it goes at FB. He's certainly athletic enough and there is concern about his ability to add weight to hold up on the interior DL. Fans should keep in mind this is our current depth on the interior DL:

1st Unit: Blake Schmidt (Sr.), Paul Brott (Jr.), Zack Black (Jr.)
2nd Unit (Projected): Hunter Sharbono (Rfr.), Ryder Trujillo (Rfr.)
3rd Unit: Jaren Perkins (So.), Nicholas Korom (Jr.)

True Freshman: AJ Tanupo, Hudson Weins

I think both AJ and Hudson can push for that 2nd unit next fall but coaches like what they have in Sharbono and Trujillo who both will have that freshman weight added for their redshirt freshman. Talon to FB may just be a spring experiment so keep that in mind. I also fully expect MSU to prioritize adding one or two DL transfer to add competitive depth.
