I would say at least 20K Bobcats!AFCAT wrote: ↑Thu Jan 15, 2026 4:25 pmI was thinking about this the other day. I'd say there was around 15 thousand Bobcat fans in Nashville for the game and thousands of more watching back home. There are currently around 800 QB club members. I know, people give to MSU in a variety of ways and not everyone can afford the $1K for yearly QB club dues, but can you imagine if the Cats could get another one thousand QB club members and what that would do for team, NIL, etc.? Sheesh!

Around 15 thousand......kwcat wrote: ↑Thu Jan 15, 2026 5:30 pmI’m gonna argue with your numbers of people at the game. I’m guessing that closer to 19 or 20,000 or Bobcat fans. I also don’t think there were 10,000 empty seats there. I wonder how many tickets weren’t counted between the high amount of reporters on the sideline bands, parents, other guests, etc.AFCAT wrote: ↑Thu Jan 15, 2026 4:25 pmI was thinking about this the other day. If I said a larger number, someone would tell me it was fewer than that. I was surprised at the number of people there that weren't fans of either team.

Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

I'm not a crowd aficionado either but figured that some fans spread out a little from their ticketed seats into the emptier areas, which made the stands appear to be more full than if everyone was in their ticketed seat. I'm not sure what the benefit would be to the NCAA to underreport attendance.kwcat wrote: ↑Thu Jan 15, 2026 5:30 pmI’m gonna argue with your numbers of people at the game. A nice guy from Glendive. He told me that he does not use Bobcat Nation due to a variety of reasons.Catsrgrood wrote: ↑Wed Jan 14, 2026 4:58 pmThat’s the one I saw on FB. Zimmer is one I'd expect we're trying to tie down.

It was fun at first but then it got a little old. I started thinking why did we bring the gris to the game, they were mostly at home where they belonged. If we ever get to play them in the natty, bring it up heartily.AFCAT wrote: ↑Thu Jan 15, 2026 5:21 pmYeah, I might have been guilty of inciting a bit of that in Nashville.wbtfg wrote: ↑Thu Jan 15, 2026 4:42 pmIf people donated as much money as they did requesting Mony Mony, we’d be in great shape.AFCAT wrote: ↑Thu Jan 15, 2026 4:25 pmI was thinking about this the other day. How did you do that out of curiosity? I tried to do it already but the normal places where I book flights don't seem to go out that far... can only book until December of this year.gtapp wrote: ↑Wed Jan 14, 2026 12:05 amAlready have!!!!!catzz wrote: ↑Tue Jan 13, 2026 10:49 pm
Many of us/you/them were panicked we didn’t bring in DB’s with our loses to graduation and mainly the portal after last season. Everyone proclaimed all we had was a bunch of unproven freshman. We all thought that was going to be the missing point of our team this year along with Tommy moving along . I’d argue this year’s DB’s along with a passing QB brought us the chipper.SparkCat wrote: ↑Tue Jan 13, 2026 10:39 pmGood posting!catzz wrote: ↑Tue Jan 13, 2026 10:26 pmGuys. Quit worrying about it. We have lost who we have, and that was expected. We may not see a single portal transfer to MSU as many are waiting for. We may hear 1-2 by the end of the week but it’s doubtful.
We don’t need the portal like the Griz do. I’m more optimistic about next years team than I was about this years! And I early on thought this years team was better than last years. Let’s ride!
PS. No other player of significance is leaving..
I saw all the transfers the griz have had commit and of course they are back to world champions. What we have is a program and have become a well oiled machine. We will get our transfers here, however, I think a lot more goes into who we take and the conditions that have led them here. Not just throwing out a large net and bringing in whoever bites.
Book Nashville now for next year..
Great time to be a BOBCAT!

He is probably talking hotel or VRBO, they will let you book out a year in advance. We booked a downtown hotel for next year.

If he and Thornton can play at 3 bills each, with titan and mastel... yikes... that's a pretty salty 4 out of the 5. Need someone to step forward to own that left guard or center spot.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Thu Jan 15, 2026 9:11 pmHis frame could easily carry 315-320 if they can safely get him there.

NCAA has a pre-sale for tickets so I signed up for that. The hotel I picked will take long term reservations. Flights I am not worried about.catatac wrote: ↑Thu Jan 15, 2026 8:08 pmHow did you do that out of curiosity?
