Are you sure it wasn't Brock Steel? He's listed as a LB.... younger brother
Brock is still wearing that hefty leg brace over his pants.

I propose a petition to annex Sheridan WY, those Steel kids are as much Montanan as I am.
Sam Lecholat from there was a pretty salty MBB player the last several years too! I second your annexation motion! All in favor say “AYE”.
Aren't the Coon brothers also from Sheridan?

Steel is also sneaky strong, and does a great job of running through a tackle.
He's a three-time state champion wrestler in Wyoming. Gatorade Football POY. 4A offensive AND defensive POY. Prep team won three straight 4A titles while he was there.
Wasn’t Dane the one that scored all of the points in one of those games? Seems like he scored on offenses, defense, special teams and was the kicker also. It was a crazy performance. When you can get Gatorade players, you are doing something right. There are and have been a lot of then on the team including Derek Snell (AK) and I think Isaiah Ifanse. Current ones include Taco, etc. Seems like the GPOY players are often leaders as well as excellent players.

Nice story about Sheridan-MSU connection.

MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

BTW, shout out to Meredith for making the hit that should have got a td for Taylor!
Wasn't the hit from Seth Johnson?
Yes it was Seth Johnson who made that hit & forced that legitimate fumble that the refs stole from us. 55-23 Cats final score

With Coy being the oldest that played for the Cats.
So that’s:
Coy
Brock’s
Dane
…..or CBD, which any opponent that runs into Steele during a football game needs to help with the pain.
