Hey everybody, we landed on the moon!
Ah Yat having a dad who was a road winner in a very tight game in Bozeman is the only reason for the reference. Don’t be so crabby. LOL.
I was talking about the comment saying Ah Yat has played in a raucous environment ten times... because ya, it's exactly the same when it's your home crowd.
Hey now, he did have to study the tablet on the sidelines when it was loud.
I know this comment is sarcastic, but it honestly is a part of why I don’t think he’ll struggle or melt down.
Going into Cat/gris this year, the reason why there were so many questions on how Lamson would handle it was because he was brand new to it, had never experienced it in either place. And he obviously excelled in it regardless.
Now with Ah Yat, he may have been on the sidelines, but he was in the stadium, getting a dose of the game day experience last year in Bozeman. And this will now be his 3rd game being involved in. So while it’s clearly a different beast being the guy out there that 20k people are aiming their screams at, I’m not expecting a deer in the headlights, “holy sh*t”, reaction from him when he goes out there.
He’s at least somewhat prepared for how loud it’ll be. It’s not a completely new thing that he has no idea what he’s walking in to, like Lamson was a few weeks ago.
I still hope the crowd is as loud as it’s ever been and we cause a few false starts and general sloppiness. I’m just not expecting the gris or Ah Yat to melt down in it either. But I would love to be wrong…
