Golly, when I stopped watching it was 38-22, with 8 minutes left, then just checked the final score and it was 52-38. USD must have had quite the meltdown.

Gris could have kneeled to win 45-22 but Bobby just can’t do that so they ran the ball and scored a 20 yard TD with 30 seconds left.

They reviewed it. Wasn't down and no whistle. Cats went on a 7 minute drive to ice game, ran Lamson up gut to eat clock, got ball back next possession and took a knee. Doesn't matter if it's 4th string guy, take a knee and win gracefully.

I was at the game. There most definitely was a whistle. But it didn’t matter in the end so no use really giving it a lot of thought after the fact.
As for “running up the score” it was the 4th string rb getting a handoff from the second string qb with a ****** of backups in. It’s very obvious, to anyone that isn’t a complete idiot that we were just running out the clock.
It’s not the second string offenses job to not score, those kids want to play too, it’s the opposing teams defenses job to not let them score. And yes I’d say the same if it were the cats who have con-tin-u-ous-ly done it all season long.

If you can’t hear a whistle, even in the Mecca, you need your hearing checked. But like I said, no use worrying about it. Games over and while it might cause some butthurt among some fans that the score was closer than they wanted…but in the end it doesn’t even matter…to quote Chester Bennington

Agreed. The players were all 2’s and 3’s. It was just about getting them some experience/development against a ranked team’s 1’s.
