Two things:

Has anyone considered that this being the first year an Ivy could be in the playoffs, that in the first half the moment was just too big for them? I mean I get being confident but I'm not sure who they are yet after watching this game. When they made sure Brungard had to stay kn the pocket it made him one dementional. So there's some good coaching there and coachable players. They settled in and look what happened.

Of course the c-um fans are going to say the Jacks sucked but now are good. They're trying to get under our skin. And its obviously working for those of you taking the bait.
I would say that this is totally a correct take. A lot of people are saying that YSU collapsed and lost the game but it wasn't like they had a bunch of turnovers(just 1) or 3 and outs. Yale adjusted their defense to take away Tomczak, Brungards favorite target and they were able to frustrate the Guins offense the rest of the way. We already knew that YSU's defense was bad and once the Bulldogs settled in and stop shooting themselves in the foot they exploited it. Yale gave the ball away 3 times in the first half and still won the game. They are decent in the trenches and the RB is a problem. That said I think the line will be 17.5 to 20.5 range and I predict the Cats cover.

Well, the first round is over and there were a couple of upsets. The comeback by Yale was nearly unbelievable! South Dakota State returned to their old form with Chase Mason back. In general, the MVFC did well. It will be a fun second round. The gris might be wishing they had got the four seed instead of the three seed since now they have to play South Dakota State. I’m guessing that’s gonna be a battle. I’m still trying to decide who I’d rather see in a rematch between the jacks and the gris but I guess it’ll have to be the jacks because I always want the gris to lose!
Ya, normally I feel like UM gets breaks with the scheduling due to $$ that stadium brings but this year... they have a brutal path. SDSU, then maybe USD, then at MSU and if they make it through that gauntlet (They won't), ding ding ding - NDSU!
I’m not so sure about that. I think the Griz have a slight advantage over both SD schools. Hope to see them in Bozeman so we can beat them again. That would be epic!

I keep hearing people say that the Griz want to play msu again. Is that only if no one beats MSU? Because I would think they would not want to play msu simply because they would be playing at home.

MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

It’s because they think the game came down to a couple unlucky plays and they win otherwise.

Delusional, but they always are.

Tool away the one receiver and hel edg3s to keep Brugards in pocket. It shut down the O. Makes you wonder if teams all season thought they could do it, plan didn't work in 1st halves but adjustments work in 2nd. Youngstown had no running game without QB

I suspect Rhode Island at Davis is the farthest match up. :D

Yeah it's approximately 2628 straight line miles and 3000 driving miles.
