Sorry this is so long, just don't read it if it's too much for you. and/or take a look for yourself using the game times provided.

To start the 3rd qtr UM went 3 and out, MSU then went 78 yds in 4 plays for a TD. That drive started at the 13:45 mark. Robby didn’t show out particularly well in that series but it was a somewhat typical showing of his style and ability of play. The 2nd play of that drive was a pass to Snell who made a good gain. Long after the tackle and whistle, Robby still had his hands holding Snell’s left foot/ankle (we can only speculate why and what he was doing) Snell took exception to that and kicked at the hands holding his ankle. Robby jumped up, playing the victim pointing at Snell.

The next play was also a pass to Snell who then juked right and ran left leaving Robby flailing his arms at air while Snell made another 7+ yds. The final play of the drive was a handoff to Marqui J who ran around the left side of the line. Robby had his eyes on the wrong thing and hopped to his left before going to his right, but his recovery was too late to make the tackle that a faster player would’ve made to stop the play for an 8 yd gain. As it was MJ ran in for a 27 yd TD while Robby tackled the air once again. Hmmm is that where those tackle numbers are coming from that no one can quite figure out?

Now Robby is not the only player that has done such crap after a tackle or been juked, had eyes wrong or was too slow to recover from a wrong first step. Is there anyone not named Hauck that would’ve been in the game on the next series though? That also goes for many other times through his career.

Another ankle twist/leg yank by Robby can be seen at the end of a pass play to Pickering that happened in the 4th qtr, the play started with 7:50 left in the game. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE! In addition, watch closely as UM’s # 0 Kale Edwards throws a punch to the kidney. With Robby graduating, will he pass the title of lead cheap shot artist on to Edwards? I’m sure there are many other very qualified candidates on the Griz team. Perhaps the head coach would like to “consult” to make sure it’s passed to the most deserving. I'm also sure he's well aware of the many good candidates he has.

Couple plays after this, on Sean's long run that almost got to the End Zone, Graves for UM was too busy throwing a cheap blind block in the back on Pickering otherwise he might have been in position to tackle Sean. He wouldn't have tackled him, mind you, but he would have been in position to.

I did see this. Pretty clear he and daddy communicate what to do during the game. I was hoping Snell would get a shot on him during one of the runs.

What amazes me is that the refs let the little piss ant do this crap every week. Every play for four years, he is punching, late hits, etc. right in front of the refs. And Ford was constantly jawing in the first and second quarters until he realized he was getting his a$$ handed to him as well. Overall, a very undisciplined football program from the top down. Then you look at the Cats and they are a class act.

So I'm guessing you missed the late hit on Mitch Roberts? Ford had 0 targets to his side and 0 catches on him. Ford was doing great, way better than anyone else on our team. Robby is 100% playing dirty and I don't condone it but trash-talking is part of the game and when you're as good as Justin Ford some trash-talk is permitted. All week long you cat fans have been scared ****** of Ford saying "Keep the ball away from Ford". This has happened both on this site and EGriz.

The late “hit” on Roberts was two guys getting tangled up while trying to get off the ground. I get why they called it a penalty, but in all reality it was nothing, and it certainly wasn’t dirty. Watch that play again, and if you really think it was dirty, then I can’t imagine you enjoy watching the Griz play.

Shouldn't have been a penalty at all, unless they called it for taunting afterward. Wasn't even remotely close to a late hit or a dirty play at all.

I'm not sure what you saw, but the guy tackled Mitch Roberts and as he was getting back up tackled him again. It was the clearest late hit I've ever seen. Robby's late hit was less clear as the whistle did not blow.

Just rewatched it here's what I saw, A tackle was made and Mitch Roberts got up #4 got up under him and forcefully put his shoulder into (under) Roberts to get him into the ground. wasn't really a tackle but it was malicious and a flag was called.

Do you not understand the term malicious? Serious question. Campbell wasn't intending "to do harm". I don't disagree with the flag, but it was in no way malicious. You're over-dramatizing it.

The MSU player was under Roberts trying to stand up and knocked him down. Was not malicious at all.

On the Hauck penalty, the whistle absolutely did blow, you can hear it clear as day, and 3 other griz tacklers let up on the play - but Hauck did not. It was a well deserved flag. Rewatch it.

From what the announcers said, it sounded like the whistle had not blown. Although you 100% need to watch that roberts hit again, 100% malicious.

As seen through maroon tinted glasses. I've watched it several times and agree with BN here. I was standing 50 yards from the Robby Hauck penalty and i heard the whistle, you can hear the whistle on TV...Maybe Hauck was so focused on the tackle he didn't hear the whistle. I give two shi** what the announcers heard or didn't hear, and as far as the Mitch Roberts episode, again clean your maroon tinted glasses.

I’m sure everyone knows that the West/visitors side is in the shade during the games and can be quite cold. Even the announcers mentioned that the gris were all huddled up on their heated benches during the game. I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw that. Take and freeze their souls.

LOL.. I have seats on the east side in the sun..Have not even been to them yet this season. We love standing in the corner by the cannon. It was a little chilly but I'm sure I was warm because of the cheering, jumping up and down and maybe the fireball in my pocket.. the whole west side of the crowd sit's in the shade. Man up!

After watching the replay, noticed our OL #75 - I believe its redshirt freshman Jacob Kettels - squaring up Robbie after he had drawn the 15-yard penalty. Kettels got in Hauck's face right after the flag, then again as Hauck walked back to the defensive side and was complaining about the call. I would love to hear what Kettels said to Hauck - it looked like Kettels was ready to lay the smackdown on him if Hauck didn't clean up his act. Great to see!

The Gris were embarrassed on the field and they have been further exposed on film as being dirty. Way too many questionable instances to just pass it as a “one off”. Last weeks game against SEMO further illustrated how dirty they are.

I thought it was strange that DeLaurent kept asking gris players for help up, and even the ref helped him up a time or two. You're not going to win any "nice guy" awards if you don't help up the opposing QB, but I don't mind him not doing it. I just kept thinking it was weird that his OL wasn't rushing over to him to help him up like you usually see.
