Re: MBB Brawl
Very nice win! Strong finish to the game too.
Gotta feel good for Logie too. Build on this.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Re: MBB Brawl
Great to see Logie and the Bobcats finally get over the hump against the Griz in regular season play. After UM went up 29-20 in the first half MSU put together a 29-7 run across the end of the first half and start of the second half to take the 13-point lead at 49-36. You knew UM would make a run and they did, but the Bobcats withstood it and hit some huge shots down the stretch to take the win. What an amazing day and night, 12 straight hours of Bobcat celebrations and victories!
The Bobcats have to get on a plane tomorrow and fly to Denver to play UNC on Monday. The Bears topped the Bobcats' meltdown against Idaho and lost tonight at Sac State after leading by 18 with only 13 minutes left in the game. Pretty shocking that they're only 1-5 with the amount of returning talent they have from a team that won the Big Sky regular season championship last year. Hopefully the Bobcats can bring the energy although that's going to be a tough task to go on the road after the emotional win tonight. GO CATS!
One more thing, wear the gold uniforms more often! They are awesome.

It was. And there was a good chorus of the chant in the first part of the song, but everyone started leaving at that point of the song, and then the chant had all but tapered out.
So what happened on the double tech? Definitely thought whoever it was for us got fouled hard and no call and then they called at leased one of the techs right away.
Did they say on TV why Pennies Williams sat so much?(pennies, because that form of money is on its way out....lol)

Williams was in foul trouble for much of the game.lutecat wrote: ↑Sun Jan 18, 2026 7:26 amIt was. And there was a good chorus of the chant in the first part of the song, but everyone started leaving at that point of the song, and then the chant had all but tapered out.

Great job fellas! Watching this team during non-conference you could see the potential. They’re steadily improving and hoping their peak is in March!

I think logie is a solid coach. Im still not convinced the talent is there…..but still pretty damn fun to beat the conference preseason favorite.
Also, i didn’t realize Money Williams is so chubby.

The one thing that came to mind was a smaller version of Charles Barkley. Kinda thought maybe he needs more conditioning. Yep, didn’t realize he was that chunky.
I don’t think I care much for him. Not sure why.

Re: MBB Brawl
Darned good crowd, about 6000. The men’s side of the BSC actually drew some good crowds.
Sac St won by having over 20 more free throws, 23 I think.

Also, i just watched the post game press conference. Travis Decuire seems like a really good dude. He showed lots of respect for msu. All class from the men’s basketball head coach.

Re: MBB Brawl
I chatted briefly with Money Williams at the last Big Sky tourney. He was very polite and friendly. I was head to toe in Bobcat gear and that didn't seem to matter. I think he's a good kid. His left handedness seems to throw defenders off. He's also super crafty and has one of the softest touches I've seen. His shots hit a lot of rim and always seem to fall through the hoop. He also uses the glass really well which is a lost art.

Re: MBB Brawl
He and Logie go way back. I think Logie's late grandpa was DeCuire's high school coach or something. Anyway they're pretty close. It's a nice little side story. DeCuire hasn't lost to the Bobcats very much either as a player or a coach. Logie's Big Sky title win over them was such a shocker. Going forward, hopefully we can get this rivalry a little more balanced, because it's been pretty lopsided in the last 20 years or so.

Met Decuire a few years ago. He's a very cool guy that I respect a lot. Wish their football coach was as respectful as Travis is
