Someone just pointed this out to me:

The cats have competed or dominated the Griz when they have a better coach. They had a better coach when Mike Kramer was there, Jeff Choate was there and they have a better coach now.

Kramer 2-2
Choate 2-0
Vigen 3-2

I had thought Choate was 4-0 for some reason. . .

Gris are now 2-5 against MSU since Bobby came back and they “Returned To Dominance” against “state” and the rest of FCS in their delusional minds.

Bobcats just ripped the #2 seed along with the Big Sky title from them in a year they spent more NIL money by far than any other program in the conference.

Seattle to Billings to Missoula to Bozeman to Portland to Billings

What a ride

Yes Choate was 4-0…2-0 in Missoula and 2-0 in Bozeman.

This troll has had plenty to eat over here. I bet we won't hear much from him after big brother walks in and stomps their ass in front of 26,000 of their closest friends. The peace and quiet will be nice.

Hahahahahahaha. Closer than it should have been, but wa griz probably was responsible for 14 points. lol have fun on griz buddy
I was wrong.
Kudos to you for coming back to BN to admit you were wrong. =D^
I was flat wrong. Cats are better than Griz. I didn’t believe it until yesterday, but now I’m there. Safe travels home and may all players stay healthy. I will say that was an amazingly fun game to watch — momentum shifts, etc. It reminded me of how fortunate we are to be in or from Montana. Am I pissed? Yes. LOL. But can’t do anything but look forward.

Have to give it you, that is a quality post. No trolling involved there. You may have another opportunity to eat crow if SDSU comes to Missoula.

The latter part of your post is where I couldn’t agree more. We are so lucky to have the teams we do, the fanbases we do, and that was a flat fun game. The Cats could have lost, I would have been disappointed, and I still would have said it was a great game that was fun to watch. And at the end of the day, that’s all I need. If it’s not fun, it’s not worth it.

So OldGriz - if the Cats and Griz meet up in the semi's, it sounds like your thought is that the Cats will beat them again, probably worse?

Do you think gris get to the semi final game against us?? I don't think they keep winning and lose at home before that time. Not that good of team and now they will start to see better teams then what they saw all year long.

Yes. Damn it. LOL. The O-line and D-line matchups will consist of the same personnel. The Cats will have a sizeable home field advantage. It will take two turnovers and a successful trick play for my answer to be wrong. That’s tough odds.

@OldGriz where you at dawg? I told you what it was. Yall ain't have the juice. Our fbs showed up ND did what they do. Gillman was what we expected, a game changer. Our wrs were better..Our qb was better..Our ol and dl was better.... as I stated yall WERE NOT better at any position. We've attacked yall exactly as I said we would. We employed pull schemes to create seams in the defense. We got qbs sacks because of coverage. I'll wait for your response.

O-line and D-line is the key. I never disputed you there (about ol/dl), and that was certainly enough to seal it. Do you believe if the O-lines and D-lines switched jersey colors that you would still say your backs, receivers, and QB are better? I don’t think you would. I believe the quarterbacks are equivalent, the receivers are equivalent, Gilman is the best back, but Adams + Jones are better than Gilman + Rocker. The big hosses up front make or break it for everyone else. That’s my opinion.

I'll admit, I was impressed with the gris. Going into the game, I thought we were dramatically better than them. But they have dudes, and played hard and with fire. We beat a good gris team that played their best, most complete game of the season. Their skill guys impressed me. KAY is a gamer. If we play them in Bozeman, I'll be much less nervous than this past week, but I think they are a team that could win that game. Not at all likely, but they have the horses to make some plays.

Griz played their best game of the year and didn’t hold back anything. They will need to do that in every game starting now, or they’ll be eliminated. If they succeed, they will get better, which could make for a great semifinal game. But it is such a difficult endeavor. Hats off to all players, parents, coaches, and support personnel in both programs.

Hol up you want us to switch players and say say who would win??? Yeah if you had our players you would win... that's why said we would win. So you realize that half the sacks we got was because our dbs were on such good coverage that our dl got the sack? Your wrs cushy create separation unless it was a short route. I literally said that gillman was really good but our two are better than your one...point proven. Yes the big hosses upn front matter. But removing them we won in every other position.
