Realizing it's just a concept and not a finished design, does it look like in this drawing/concept that they added lower seating closer to the football field almost all the way around?
The just added lower level seats on the North and East sides to mirror what's already on the West and South sides.

Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

When you read the master plan it seems as though the Football Stadium improvements are 4th on the list. Are we to believe that the Brick and Tennis courts gets done before the football stadium? If so doesn’t that seem like a mistake when you factor in ticket sales gained plus suite revenue would help the overall athletic budget?

Thank you I missed that.

So hopefully they have someone with deep pockets like the couple that donated that large amount to the College of Nursing that can take care of all 4 in 1 fell swoop! I can only wish!

They need to make sure and include a permanent heated College Gameday stage/set!

I thought it looked like they added a lower section by the sidelines, but upon thinking about, I’m not sure how they’d get any closer than what we already are.

Most donors on this level specify what they'd like their money to fund. This checklist will almost certainly be worked in whatever order the required funds are accumulated.

If all of these upgrades actually happen, to all the facilities and we are still in the FCS, I love it. If all this is being done for a jump to FBS, than I could care less what happens. We won’t be the next Boise State and people will lose interest. I won’t renew my season tickets if we move up. Not worth the 6 hour drive.

You’d rather drive 6 hours to watch Portland State than Wyoming?

I was really amped this year to make the drive to Bozeman for the third Saturday in a row to watch them play Mercyhurst.

The structure probably can't get any closer, but the seats will be move forward as the walkway is moved back similar to the west side.

To anyone: try to attend an event of any kind when Leon is there. He makes himself extraordinarily available and is happy to visit. During an opportunity I had with him, he explained that this program has to be prepared for the inevitable shakeup likely to happen in the near future.

Nobody knows how any of that will play out, but this program has to be on the best possible position to play at the highest level within our means. We will want more options and not fewer options.

For example and specific to your comment, the terms FBS and FCS as they exist now likely won't mean anything after the shakeup.

I know the drawings are very preliminary with many changes to come. It probably goes without saying but I'm not taking any chances and will go on record now saying that any changes will preserve the ability of the Rodeo team to enter and lead the team out or this project is dead in the water.

As others have said, Leon is very approachable and easy to talk with. He's a man of great vision and part of his vision is making sure that everyone feels drawn in. Thanks for your hard work Leon.

They'll have to have an opening wide enough - and tall enough - to get service vehicles in and out for snow removal purposes. They'll have no problem getting mounted riders in and out of the stadium...

Yeah, I was mostly just kind of kidding around with that. I'm pretty sure that the opening in the south east corner of the field is wide enough and high enough to get equipment onto the field as well.

I know next to nothing about the tennis program. Do they ever play matches outside?

MSU is planning a nice outdoor tennis facility in addition to the indoor improvements.
Weather permitting, they did play outdoor tennis matches in the past back when the outdoor tennis courts east of the Fieldhouse were still there. Currently they only use the indoor courts when playing at home.
Looks to me like they're also shooting for hosting a bunch of High School tennis championships as well.

The goalposts still aren’t tall enough. :-^
They are going to add lasers to the top that will project approximately 11 miles higher. They lasers will be able to blow up a football that doesn't miss them. (There may be a few bird blowups but that just part of the entertainment of we ever release a bunch of doves)

I just love how the guys on E griz are bashing the new Bobcat stadium plans. Didn't the grizzlies just build an unbelievably ugly blow up condom for an indoor practice facility. Can you imagine the day when bobcat stadium has a larger capacity than the Mecca. It might be a few years but it's going to happen. The university in Bozeman is getting close to twice the size as UM and the construction going on at the campus in Bozeman is out of this world.
