We should jump to #4 or maybe even #3 after today's performances but because everyone above us won we'll be stuck at #5.

ISU is not a serious team.

The griz have nothing to be proud of with that win. I mean it's a win but yuck.

"Cody Hawkins had his team ready today to play the #4 team in the country."

Yeah, but he didn't have them ready to beat them. They were scared on the last couple drives and that cost them the game.

This is terrible coaching by ISU. Four straight Hail Mary passes with almost a minute left in the red zone with three timeouts available

This may not be true. I’ve been paying close attention this year and I’ve already learned that SDSU isn’t a good team. And I’ve learned than UND is really good this year. So I can only presume that Idaho State is really super good this year.

ISU had some head scratching play calls in the 4th quarter. Grizzlies should fear any team with an average or better qb.

Yeah that is the opposite of how you close out a game

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

That's all they needed. They can keep winning ugly and worst case scenario for them is probably the 5 seed. Someone needs to knock them off but unless Cal Poly can shock the world next week I don't see anyone stepping up and getting the job done. If they can play better and start blowing out the losers on their schedule for the next 6 weeks they could get the 2 seed if they win Cat griz.

Really interested to see how our D line gets after ISU next week. They’re going to throw it 50 times, how productive our pass rush is will be the difference between having a game like the gris just did or us holding ISU in check like all other FCS opponents we’ve seen so far.

Nobody said the Griz are proud. But they are undefeated and ranked higher than the Bobcats.

I mean, you might be right. They could be a great as you think.

The point some are making as they literally needed a reverse wide receiver pass to the quarterback to come from behind and beat Idaho state. Say that out loud.

People tend to overthink this part of the season.

NAU is better than ISU and we played them in Flagstaff. We'll feast on the Bengals at home.

True, but I'm not sure they should be after today.

Ranked higher until Monday. But they are undefeated, I'll give you that. Always pull something out of their butts. But ISU had them on the ropes.

I don't think they're good but most of the voters, as well as the playoff committee, will see the griz (fresh off a national championship 24 years ago) racking up wins and slot them into the 2 spot if they win out. How do you think they reached #4 already this season? They aren't the 4th best team in the country they just keep winning and don't technically have any bad wins because even today they scored a lot of points. We slipped up letting Mercyhurst play ball control against us. Not blowing the doors off them means the best we can do is probably the 3 seed.

It’s an age-old phenomenon how higher-ranked teams get called upon by fans of lower-ranked teams to apologize for winning ugly. I don’t think any apology is forthcoming.
