I think we need to start talking about the Adam Jones sophomore slump and the Julius Davis comeback. Both are receiving similar volume...and only one is producing to the standard (>6 YPC).

I don’t subscribe to the narrative of not missing Scottre. With one more in the mix someone always seemed to be hot. I was happy to see White get some carries. He really moved the pile. We need him.

I think the names on the back of the jerseys are what’s causing the early season rust and poor rushing performance.

Anyway, I noticed the Dowlers are the only players with common names that just have their last name on the back of the jersey and not a first initial as well. It can’t be because one brother is on offense and the the brother is on defense because the Vigens both have their first initials on their jerseys.

The Dowlers are twins, Vigens aren’t. Cannot mess with twin-dom. The twins are very close — wouldn’t be surprised if they requested that.

This my first game in several years, I got a new hip and it is fantastic. Is the read option totally dead? Julius is the only bright spot in the running game. We are now a passing team. Kickers seem pretty good. The BAC needs to have the roof painted. I really like the scoreboard.Lovef being back for a game.

Congratulations @allcat! I got a new hip and haven’t made a game, although had tickets for one and got bronchitis. I sincerely hope your new hip is working well. It seems to be a mixed bag.

I don’t see MSU being a 6+ rushing team. I think the new norm is 5.5+, which is very good. I can see Davis over 6.0. This change has nothing to do with skills. Different style of offense, Lamson isn’t going to get the yards Tommy, RBs don’t get the same benefit from the distraction of the QB run.

I think losing to Oregon (we all knew that one was going to happen) and a double OT loss to SDSU was what it took to make these guys realize what needed fixed and what needed to be done going forward. Didn’t get to see much of the game, but seeing the clips and stats, I think this team will be just fine.

I couldn't ask for better. I really couldn't walk anywhere for a year. I have more mobility than I've had for 5 years. I got it two months ago and couldn't be happier about it.
