Hopefully this will make SDSU look like they are in slow motion next week.

I’ve never seen one of these be over so quickly.

Gonna have to be more creative on those short yardage situstions against these guys. Their DL is just too good to think we can move them.
They’re just running what they would run against a normal opponent.
I get that, but this is not a normal opponent.
I get that but they want to see what they normally do when they get the opportunity.

Hopefully this is the vanilla play calling we expected to just collect the check and this game doesn't provide SDSU with any real film.

This is going as well as you would expect facing half of an NFL team.
Not wrong here. The Ducks have several players with higher NIL amounts this year than the 680K payout MSU revieces for this game.

no call holding on that TD run. It was pretty obvious.

Defense rallying to the ball - I like that. I see the good in it.

Ducks are simply bigger, stronger and faster. We will need time to gel with all the newbies. We will be fine at the FCS level.
Yeah, minus the injuries sustained today...

Your D2 opponents do tend to make it a close game.

The secondary is doing well considering how the pass rush is being stuffed. Even when MSU blitzed it didn’t get burned too bad.

Serious question. When was the last time a Big Sky team was 24 points down to a ranked FBS team after just 19 minutes of play? What was the last BSC team to beat a ranked FBS opponent?

Oregon getting incredibly good field position except for first possession.

Watching that punt get fumbled and bounce directly out of bounds just confirms it's not our day.

Serious question. Is that the best you got?

Perfect examples of how meaningless these games can be.

I'd prefer if we stuck to playing PAC and MWC schools going forward, potential future Conference mates and much better chances to get an FBS scalp.

Have to remind myself in addition to the new players we are breaking in new coordinators. So far somewhat encouraged by the in game adjustments
