Good timing to hopefully be able to keep some folks out of the smoke this summer/fall.topshelfthepuck wrote: ↑Fri May 16, 2025 11:42 amThis week on the Eastern MT Swing for Leon and the coaches they said July is now the anticipated date. Currently the concrete for the track is going in followed by the surfacing of that. They figure 3 weeks for all of those steps to be completed then the netting and interior finishing to follow. They did state that the roof delay because of weather has pushed everything back, which was assumed on here as well. Even so, it'll be ready for the teams as they begin summer workouts.
And the heat. It usually doesn't get super-hot until July.D-Wreck wrote: ↑Fri May 16, 2025 12:25 pmGood timing to hopefully be able to keep some folks out of the smoke this summer/fall.topshelfthepuck wrote: ↑Fri May 16, 2025 11:42 amThis week on the Eastern MT Swing for Leon and the coaches they said July is now the anticipated date. Love the updates. Aren't you glad we didn't have a blow up version?!

Like most things, it looks much better in person than in photos. The Cat head logo in photos in reality is smaller than the depiction, but when you see it in person it looks much bigger. Has me wondering of depictions are intentionally done that way. Kind of like seeing things from different angles.
A lot of the inside photos have made building look small and had me trying to figure out where a track will fit. Then yesterday there is one with a man on the field. It puts the size in perspective.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Fri May 23, 2025 8:27 amLike most things, it looks much better in person than in photos. The logo inside also pops when you see it in person. The Holland EZ is like that, too, at least it is for me. I always am slightly surprised at how big it looks in person vs TV/pics.
I’ve written this before. If you put the indoor on the field in Bobcat stadium with one end starting starting up against the Sonny Holland endzone, it would extend halfway through the upper floor of the BAC with a width extending into the grandstands. The building would be slightly taller than the scoreboard.tetoncat wrote: ↑Fri May 23, 2025 12:45 pmA lot of the inside photos have made building look small and had me trying to figure out where a track will fit. It would be cool if someone with drone pics shot directly above the indoor and above the stadium could do a little photoshop work and put the indoor and stadium pics together to show what you're talking about.AFCAT wrote: ↑Fri May 23, 2025 5:18 pmI’ve written this before.
