Can anybody tell me what the event will be at the star? Trying to figure out how many tickets to get in whether or not we could bring the kids

The event at Ford Center at the Star is the Sunday Funday.

Assuming it is going to be similar to the one they had the night before last time. Just really a huge gathering of Cat fans. They had some light appetizers and a couple bars (really about 15 too few bars for how many people there were). They had a spot with a bunch of MSU and Championship merchandise for sale. The band came through and played. There were plenty of kids there as I recall. Obviously an adult dominated event, but was totally appropriate for children.

That is what I remember also. Thanks for your input in regards to the tailgate do you know if they actually moved the meeting spot to the east side of the stadium. Last time we were on the west side near the parkway behind that bank

Thanks. What I read is that it was just basically the rally. So I didn’t know if they actually were putting the tailgate there or not. Thank you

Well you raise a good point. Is a “rally” a “tailgate”. I assumed they were. Although someone said I needed to bring my own bottle to a “rally”….vs. being able to buy a beverage at a “tailgate”! Whatever it is…it’s on the East side!

I’m sure the Tailgate is no host and BYOB. That’s what it was last time. My rental car was close to the tent they set up last time and lots of fans piled their beer around our car for safekeeping!

All great questions!

The Star Event
This is our main event, similar to the event last time we were in Frisco. Children are welcome, ages 10 and under are free. Concessions in the concourse will be open and there will be beer, wine, seltzer stations and full bars on the field. These bars will be well staffed and stocked!

Tailgate
The tailgate will be located on the East Side of the Stadium in the SE corner (white star) of the SIENNA SOUTH BLUE LOT. Bring your own food and beverages, including water! No food or beverage will be available for purchase. Gameday parking is $30 per spot in red and blue lots, $20 in green and white lots. Payment by credit card only day of game.

Let us know if you have any more questions. Go Cats!

Go to the very first post on this thread from the alumni foundation. It has it there. Click on Information HQ link.

Bottom line Bookstore will be selling at Concrete Cowboy at the opening casual evening event.

Will anyone from BN have a camper or proper tailgating equipment for the event? 2021 was a blast but was a bit like packing sardines into the 1 giant tent. NDSU fans seemed to have minicamps throughout the parking lot which were fun to pop into. Just wanted to see if anyone from this group had a plan beyond showing up on Monday with a case of beer…because I do NOT!

We were talking about that the other day, how much easier if a drive it is from either Fargo or Brookings to Frisco than from Bozeman. Ndsu fans drove in big numbers last time.

I can’t make the 1/4 event but plan to be at the 1/5 one. Will the bookstore also be selling merch at this one?

While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

We were in and set up a little before 6 AM close to the MSU tailgate tent. One motorhome next to us. Within a couple hours we had stacks of beer around her rental car and our tailgate open with tunes rolling

I will post some pictures from last time at the alumni tailgate. I’ll see if I remember how to do that. I might have to get a tutorial from AFCAT to remind me how to do that again. He gave me step-by-step directions last time

I have a PM saved from him with the instructions:

1, Go to this site. https://postimages.org

2. Upload whatever image you have by clicking on the "choose image" button. Then chose the picture you want to upload from your files. Once the image is uploaded, the page will change to reveal a number of links.

3. Click on the button on the far right of the "Direct link" and that will copy the link to your computer or high lite and copy the link that's listed on your own.

4. Go back to BN and whatever thread you want to post the image in. In that thread, in the subject box, click on the image icon (looks like a mountain scene). Up will pop this "(img)(img)." Post the link you copied from post images in-between like this: "(img)(Post link here)(/img)" The parenthesis will actually look like this[ ] but I can't put that on here or it won't show up.

5. Then you can just hit the submit button and your photo will post.
