I’m thinking more of younger guys that will have bright futures here… Unterrio Latin-Henley. Dude has great size, speed, and is very shifty. Continue to improve his decision making and vision and he will be incredible. On the other side, Bryce Grebe has really stood out and will only get better.

Re: Who’s exceeded your expectations?
All the players returning have exceeded my expectations to the point that I expect to win another BSC title and be a top two seed in 2025.
QBs- Wilson, Reed, Warren
RBs- Jones, Davis, Coon, ULH, White
OL- Mastel, Jefferson, Titan, Carr, Nyland, Rollins, Ezekial, …
TE- Jones, Schlepp, Provience
WR- Dowler, Alexander, King
DE- Eiden, Salano, Crews, Parsons, Fredrickson…
DT- Brott, Black, Sharbono, Marsh
LB- Daily, Grebe, Krahe, Taylor…
CB- Powdrell, McMillan, Boyd, Harmon, Carr, Williams…
S- Polidore, Dowler, Taki, Pottenger,…
N- Gray, Petre, Ross…
This team is loaded. And that’s assuming Humphrey and Moore are portal casualties. Just a hunch.

I like ULH a lot, but great size? He looks pencil thin to me.Monymony wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 12:46 amI’m thinking more of younger guys that will have bright futures here… Unterrio Latin-Henley. Rohan Jones-- I never imagined that they would lose Snell and somehow get MORE dynamic at that position.

Yeah i think he's got the absolute tools to be our next all world back but I agree, he needs an off-season in our strength program.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 8:29 amI like ULH a lot, but great size? That whole room is amazing, led by Jones. But we've not missed a beat in the run or pass game losing snell and pickering. Incredible.

I’m not sure this really fits for this thread, but Sean Herrin.
He has this team faster, stronger, and better conditioned than anybody we’ve played, and by a good margin. The gains that the young players have made body wise, and then not just the physical, but the mental training they do all offseason.
I genuinely think he’s the most important coach on the staff, and that includes Vigen.

It was really fun to listen to Rylan talk about their mental conditioning. I think that has been one of the biggest changes to this team. They are unbelievably mentally strong.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 9:44 amI’m not sure this really fits for this thread, but Sean Herrin.

That play just shows how great he is going to be. Better every time he touches the ball it seems.Cataholic wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 10:30 amAdam Jones. Check out this clip from Keaton Gillogly on TIL Tok. The spin move. Wow!

Whoops, I guess for some reason he looked like he had some size. I blame the student section viewing angle.BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 9:38 amYeah, not sure 5' 10" 165-170 is good sizeGoldstoneCat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 9:23 amYeah i think he's got the absolute tools to be our next all world back but I agree, he needs an off-season in our strength program.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 8:29 amI like ULH a lot, but great size? Re: Who’s exceeded your expectations?
I think he's 5-11. I don't see anywhere that he's listed at 5-10. I have a hard time believing he's under 170, but the MSU site says 169. I would guess 180. But, yes, he's looking good. He looked good against PSU and I think anytime MSU plays a team that is good stopping the run he's going to see the field as his best trait right now is catching passes in the flat and making people miss. I think he played vs PSU because its something they want to use and needed to see it in live action. I expect to see him every game in the playoffs.BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 9:38 amYeah, not sure 5' 10" 165-170 is good sizeGoldstoneCat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 9:23 amYeah i think he's got the absolute tools to be our next all world back but I agree, he needs an off-season in our strength program.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 8:29 amI like ULH a lot, but great size? I think the OC Walker deserves credit for MSU being able to offset good run defenses. MSU worked on getting the ball out on the edges in the passing game in spring and preseason camps, and that change has really helped MSU a couple times this year. The two-minute offense has also benefitted greatly from MSU's ability in that area.
MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Re: Who’s exceeded your expectations?
Bobby Daly and Tyler Walker. Talk about a refreshing change from the play-calling of the two previous coordinators. Love what these guys have been able to do with our game plans every week. And considering that both sides of the ball have lost significant players during the course of the season and our coaches have been able to make great adjustments. Keep it up guys!
